We booked while driving, half an hour before arrival and did not give the chance to owner to prepare, but still the apartment was clean and the host was very friendly. We liked the most: realy nice hosts, app was fully equipped, peaceful area and comfy beds (we slept very very good) and a good price, it was the best value for money ever.

The town of Ludwigslust isn't particularly special, but...

The town of Ludwigslust isn't particularly special, but Ludwigslust Palace is highly recommended. A guided tour and a walk through the palace park are also recommended. It's also not far from Lüneburg, which is quite special and beautiful.

Not only are the palace and palace gardens well worth seeing...

Not only are the palace and palace gardens well worth seeing, but there are also many worthwhile day trips possible in the surrounding area. We deliberately explored Ludwigslust on foot, and then easily reached the other sights and day trips by car.

Lulu is a beautiful, well-maintained, and clean town.

Lulu is a beautiful, well-maintained, and clean town. The centerpiece is, of course, the imposing castle and the lovely castle park with its canal, church, and wonderful old trees. The surrounding area also offers interesting opportunities for excursions.

Very quiet town. Doesn't look like much at first glance.

Very quiet town. Doesn't look like much at first glance. But there are nice historical buildings around the castle. The castle park is beautiful. And then the Stadtkirchen is completely unique and is highly recommended to be seen if you are in Ludwigslust.

The castle with its cascades is worth seeing, the layout of the old town is remarkable (very wide streets for such a small place). The restaurant "Alte Wache" is worth a visit, great food!!

There's plenty to see, a beautiful castle, and the "Night of...

There's plenty to see, a beautiful castle, and the "Night of Music" event was excellent. However, Ludwigslust is the wrong place for pedestrians. Instead of building bike paths, they simply put up signs saying cycling on the sidewalk is allowed. So you get ringed at from behind every few moments. For this reason, I will avoid this town in the future.

Nice hotel right in the center. It is funny in it's interior, which is different styles throughout the hotel. Nice breakfast. There was free parking, and even though we arrived very late, there was still one little spot left for us.

Royal treatment at a wonderful hotel. Magnificent spacious suite, very well furnished with an eye for detail. Breakfast was great. The place is thought through to give comfort, pleasure and place for relaxing on kingly level.
