The staff were exceptional and made us feel very welcome. The lady at the desk also spoke Dutch fluently. I had asked for vegan breakfast options, and the kitchen went out of their way to provide a wide selection that gave me an excellent start for a day of cycling in the beautiful surroundings!

Lovely hotel in a peaceful country side. Room was clean and bed comfortable! Owners very helpful, and professionals. Dinner was delicious. The garden with the birds singing, is a high positive energy place, to relax after exploring the amazing nature of the area!

Perfect location, Cornelis, the owner, great guy very laid back and helpful. The cabin was perfect, very clean and everything you need. Very comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchenette and plenty fast Wi-Fi to stream without buffering. Loved the wood fire and it was great to park my motorcycle right by the front door. I would definitely come back to this place :-)

A pleasant but simple hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

A pleasant but simple hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good. Dinner was also reasonable, though a bit too much schnitzel on the menu. Mettendorf is easily accessible by car from various directions. I'm not sure about public transport. The surrounding area is beautiful for walking, cycling, and motorcycling. The bathroom (shower) was okay, but outdated. I would definitely go there again.

Nice little hotel.

Nice little hotel. The room was very basic, but new, clean, and functional. Hard beds, poor pillows. Nice bathroom. Good breakfast. We had a problem with the extractor fan from the kitchen of the restaurant next door. The restaurant was reasonable.

That's a bit boring.

That's a bit boring. It's also due to the strict Covid-19 measures. But Luxembourg was close by, and it was still great for walking, as well as charming towns. Hiking trails in Mettendorf are challenging in winter, but incredibly beautiful and surprising. We'll definitely come back for that.
