We came here to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and the hotel staff prepared a welcome gift and set up a romantic table for our dinner. The hotel and the staff are great, it was our second time here. We would say - a perfect place to relax and enjoy the spa facilities with your partner. Breakfast was really good as well- fresh, tasty and satisfying. A big positive for us was that the hotel is dog friendly, so we absolutely loved it that we could bring our four legged fur baby with us. They welcomed our dog with a sleeping mat, a bowl and heart shaped treats. We will definitely keep coming back to Weisser Bär. Thank you so much!

We had a most excellent stay. The room was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, modern, well maintained and very clean. The breakfast was exceptional; such a great variety, even for fussy eaters. Easy access from the car park to reception and the rooms.

Nice location in the wineries of Brauneberg. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was great. It was possible to taste the wines of Gehlen-Cornelius in the lounge of the hotel. But there was no bar with snacks or food.. From the room, you have a great view of the wineries. Brauneberg is a small town, and there is not much to do. There are a lot of hikes in the direct neighborhood of the hotel. It was also possible to rent ebikes in the hotel.

The location is a wonderful starting point for hiking through the vineyards of the Middle Moselle. We only had a long weekend with two wonderful days of hiking in the area, which was very relaxing.

beautiful town but very little to do so if you don't have bikes with you like us and you go on foot, be sure to take a bottle of water because even in the village itself there is nothing open or a shop to buy anything

Beautiful scenery and vineyards.

Beautiful scenery and vineyards. Great for hiking, cycling, and jogging. The proximity and easy accessibility of Bernkastell are also a plus. This corner of the Moselle is more beautiful and worth seeing than Cochem.

On the banks of the Moselle, in a very peaceful location, with plenty of opportunities for hiking among the vineyards, and all sorts of sights within a reasonable distance. Very friendly staff, delicious food, a cozy bar, and a relaxing spa. What more could you ask for on a relaxing trip?

Beautiful scenery with numerous vineyards and wineries, long hikes that never get boring as there's always something new to discover. Bernkastel-Kues and Trier are nearby and offer a diverse and historically rich environment. Easily accessible from all directions via well-maintained roads.

It's located somewhat remotely from larger towns.

It's located somewhat remotely from larger towns. Therefore, it's quieter than, for example, Bernkastel-Kues, which is only 5 km away. Parking is available right there, and there's always a view of the Moselle River. Ideal for relaxing.

It is a very nice hotel in a lovely position beside the river. The dinner and breakfast were very good. We had a very enjoyable evening meal sitting on the hotel terrace overlooking the river. My only complaint was that we booked a standard double room but were put in very large and spotlessly clean family room but it was in the roof. The A/C was ineffective and it was very hot.
