The room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking woods. The room was clean. The hotel is part of a huge sports centre and wellness centre and you can use the facilities for free. The breakfast was nice and you could sit outside. The staff were helpful and friendly. Loads of free parking. Short walk to river. The hotel was in an commercial estate but it is very quiet and not an issue. It is an easy 10min drive into Freiburg.

The inn is located in Bottingen, a village near Nimburg. There's a restaurant called Gasthaus zur Krone there that offers fantastic food. Unfortunately, they don't offer rooms. Bottingen is not far from other places in the Kaiserstuhl region, such as Endingen or Breisach, which are worth visiting.

We were just passing through, returning from Italy and...

We were just passing through, returning from Italy and heading home to the Netherlands. The room was great, we had a good glass of wine and a bite to eat, and the breakfast was excellent. We stayed one night, so that's pretty much all there is to it.

The hotel was on our route to France, but it's a good base for visits to the Black Forest, Freiburg, and the Vosges Mountains, including Riquewihr and Colmar. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling, with some well-known scenic routes.

I only needed an accessible hotel near Freiburg. So, not much to say about Nimburg itself. It's easily accessible from the highway. Very convenient for a visit to Europa Park, for example.

It's a little out of the way, but that's exactly how we...

It's a little out of the way, but that's exactly how we wanted it. Just a few steps away you're surrounded by vineyards, perfect for wonderful walks or hikes, and there are even good public transport connections. Alsace and the Black Forest are easily accessible by car.

A perfect stopover between the Netherlands and Italy, with its own (spacious) parking lot. Close to the highway and wonderfully quiet. We will definitely be back. The dinner was very good; the breakfast buffet was superb. One downside was the rather long wait for the main course. Despite active recruitment, the staff appears to be insufficient. The owner explained this.

Great room everything is new and floating bed. Second floor with no lift gave us free training up the stairs! No air condition but expected. Not direct off autobahn but worth the 3 km travel. Great value, free parking direct by the hotel. Great breakfast. Had soup and beer in the evening and service was as expected

It was our third stopover night at this hotel on the way to Italy - and we will come back! Nice, fairly big rooms, spotlessly clean, great breakfast with lots of choices. They also offer a very good in-house restaurant and an outside terrace in season which is very convenient if you don’t want to drive anymore…

Our family stayed in the hotel for one night. We were traveling from Switzerland to Amsterdam. The hotel is nicely located near the highway, very quiet and clean. Great breakfast with a lot of choices. The room was very quiet and seems recently renovated. It was a great choice.

Very good location for exploring Freiburg. Our room was upgraded, thanks for this. Nice restaurant in the hotel but I would recommend thesteak house in the neighbouring village calledn Reute.
