We liked the charm of this old house. The location is very quiet and we loved seeing the deer in the field each morning. Breakfast was superb. The sauna area was very nice and modern.

We were in a new appartment in Rugenhouse. The appartment is in wonderfull old house in village Zirkow, 10 kilometers from hotel in Bergen. Bedroom upstairs is amazing. A sauna is benefit for cold days. Breakfest in the hotel was very good.

Everything is completely new. Everything is clean and cozy. Comfortable bed, bathroom is ok with shower and hot water. Location is perfect, I like the northern part of the Ruggen the most and it was very close to beautiful location and sunset points by car. We will not take breakfast but in the room is a small fridge and we could satisfied with our own breakfast with coffee that provided with coffee machine in the room. Staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 5 and have a view on the water from terrace. You also can watch Netflix on TV in your room but who need it in a such wonderful nature area?:)

We had a wonderful time relaxing in the peaceful...

We had a wonderful time relaxing in the peaceful surroundings with our dog, enjoying the beautiful natural scenery. The facilities and houses in the village are well-maintained. The small beach by the harbor is also lovely. The only downside is that dog poop should be left behind. It's such a small effort to bag it up and put it in the trash cans.

There wasn't much going on in Ralswiek.

There wasn't much going on in Ralswiek. No shops or nice restaurants. Nothing happening at the harbor either. The attractive-looking restaurant there was closed. The only standout was the castle hotel above Ralswiek. Great food with a wonderful view from the terrace.

During the Störtebeker Festival, Ralswiek is absolutely...

During the Störtebeker Festival, Ralswiek is absolutely buzzing. Even at other times, our accommodation in Ralswiek was ideally located. From there, we could easily reach all parts of the island, and if we wanted peace and quiet, the holiday apartment was the perfect place.

We only stayed a few days as we were there for the...

We only stayed a few days as we were there for the Störtebeker Festival. The location was perfect; we could easily walk to the venue. It was a lovely, quiet location, the food was very good, and the staff was very friendly. There's also an indoor pool. We were even able to bring our dog. We can definitely recommend it.

We were there because of Störtebeker and the island in general; the Baltic Sea is always a good place to be, the weather was very good, we were lucky. We'd love to go back again. The accommodation is very quiet and 1km from Ralswiek, with parking right at the house.

The location of the accommodation was excellent for the...

The location of the accommodation was excellent for the Störtebeker Festival – the main reason for our trip. However, anyone relying on public transport and wanting to do some sightseeing should not plan a longer stay there! In terms of scenery, a walk through the castle park and up to the castle is highly recommended!

I think I simply fell in love with this Hotel. This is something you don't find every day. And especially during off-season this is a nice cosy place to wind down, get your mind free - like I did. I for sure will return, even for a spontaneous weekend getaway trip.
