Really nice hotel to fair prices and with a friendly and supportive staff. The breakfast was excellent. There is good parking area in the hotel yard (5 Euro pro. day).

It was really warm and clean. Staff were very helpful and breakfasts delicious. We could walk everywhere in town and there was a really good restaurant next door that we went to one evening, called Dragsreth, I think. You need to book though,

The hotel is in a nice historic location. The personnel is offering exceptional hospitality both in the restaurant and in the hotel. First we got a room where the window didn't close properly (otherwise the room was absolutely lovely), so we talked to the lady at the reception who immediately offered us another room (actually it was an upgrade). Also, we enjoyed the spa facilities: the sauna area and the pool were very clean and comfortable. The food and drinks in the restaurant are of the highest quality. No doubt this hotel was the best choice in Friedrichstadt.

The staff are very friendly, super welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Great selection for breakfast, all freshly prepared and tasty. I especially like the 'Husumer Pannfisch mit Salat' for evening dining in the restaurant. A great location in the centre of Husum - beautiful shops nearby and the beautiful Schloss Garten is only a 2 minute walk away - ideal for an uplifting walk before breakfast. I have stayed here many times and will be back 🥰

Breakfast is a very comprehensive spread of breads, fruit, cereals, meats, fish and cheese, and boiled eggs are offered separately. Rooms on the front of the hotel overlook the canal and market place, and on the landing is a keg of cold beer, a fridge with other drinks (for sale) and tea making facilities. I found the bed very comfortable and heating is very easy to operate and very effective. Reception staff speak enough English for general purposes. Food in the restaurant is traditional and extremely generous.

They gave us such a nice room at the end of the building where we could park almost right beside the entrance. We had a lovely view over the water and felt very private on the patio. It was a very comfortable room.

Plenty of space in the house for 6 adults.

Plenty of space in the house for 6 adults. Very service-minded and helpful host. Charming surroundings with the town and the cultivated marshland. Great starting point for bike trips to Friedrichsstadt, Nordstrand/Pellworm, Husum etc. With a lift with the car it is easy to get to the Kiel Canal, Schleswig, Schließen, Dannevirke, Eckernförde - yes, in a week's stay a wealth of great cycling experiences in Schleswig-Holstein.
