The place is overall really nice, cozy, and serves a good breakfast. The staff is also very forthcoming and friendly. I had to work remotely from there and they allowed me to sit all day in their restaurant and use their coffee machine for free 👌🏻

I loved the very warm team and historical aspect of the hotel. The vineyard adjoins the hotel. It’s a charming boutique hotel nestled in nature. The Manager of the hotel was very warm and welcoming and always available for help. The main sommelier and also the owner was very warm and knowledgeable. We discussed about wines and I loved his passion for his wines.

Everything was awesome! Especially, their hospitality is equivalent to a five-star hotel. I misunderstood the breakfast time and came at the ending time, but the staff (maybe Frau Hirsch?) welcomed me and said to me 'langsame, bitte' (You can take your time, please.) Of course, the food they serve was so delicious and a lot of varieties! (buffet style) Four kinds of bottled jam are a must!! Unfortunately, on the day I visited, they had a mega transportation strike across Germany. I talked to another staff (Herr Hirsch?) about what I should do during the stay. And he kindly made recommendations and he was so gentle and generous and flexible. I will definitely come back if I could go to Germany again in the future. Another staff (maybe Tochter/daughter) was so cute and kind, too!

The location of the hotel is perfect, just in front of the airport's terminal. The rooms are nice and comfy. It's also important to know that the front door can be opened at night with the code of the room, in case you exit the hotel at night for a smoke :)

A no-nonsense room with all the basics. Well suited for short stays before or after air-travel when arrival or departure hours are in the red eye zone. Location: at approx 120 meter from the terminal. Personel most helpful, especially the night-manager.... The vending machine, wine too. More luxurious hotels to be found in nearby Rastatt and famous Baden-Baden. (the casino where once a James Bond scene was filmed)

Breakfast offers a great choice. Dinner is exceptional and the portions are massive. All the staff are really welcoming. The hotel is well placed for trips to the Black Forest or Baden Baden.
