All was perfect, we appreciate the greeting and kindness of the landlord. The apartment is very, very clean, and well furnished. In the kitchen, we had all the tools we needed . We recommend that place for the quiet area and the proximity to nice places to visit; Colmar, Strasbourg, Fribourg en Brisgau.

Sasbach am Kaiserstuhl is a village on the French border and the Rhine. There's a charging station right outside. There's a restaurant on the corner, but you can only order hot food until 6:00 PM. Supermarkets are a 5-minute drive away. The village also boasts many wineries.

We brought our bikes along, which made our holiday wonderful. The cycle paths through the forest along the Rhine were fantastic – simply wonderful. In the town center, there's a restaurant with great food and perfect value for money.

Good train connections towards Freiburg and the Black Forest. Close to France (Colmar, Alsace). Good hiking trails through the vineyards and mountains. A wine tavern nearby offers very reasonably priced, traditional food.
