We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Butz and we're definitely coming back to this for us new favourite! Everything was well over our expectations. Clean spacious room with very comfortable beds and a fresh bathroom with everything you want. Restaurant with varied and delicious food and welcoming staff. They asked what time we wanted breakfast which usually was served at 8 a clock. We needed it at 7 a clock. Seven a clock next morning our very own very beautifully presented and generous breakfast was ready at our table. The staff where all so nice and friendly and we really felt that they wanted us to have the best experience possible at their hotel. we had our two dogs with us and the surroundings are peaceful and nice for walks. Highly recommend Hotel Butz to people who value quality and tranquility and a friendly athmosfere.

Love all the little shops and food options along the beach path. The area is beautiful. The Baltic Sea was actually almost as blue as the Caribbean. If it rains, you can easily spend a full day at the Ostseetherme. Many sauna & relaxation options!

The restaurants and shops are very expensive.

The restaurants and shops are very expensive. You're paying for the location. The beaches are fantastic and regularly cleaned. You feel safe and quickly get into holiday mode. You can walk along the beach in any direction. From October onwards, it's an absolute delight with a dog.

Scharbeutz is highly recommended.

Scharbeutz is highly recommended. Prices for shopping and going out are reasonable. It's very clean everywhere you go. The beach is always well-maintained, with no litter in sight. The people everywhere are very friendly, including the residents of Scharbeutz.

Scharbeutz is, in my opinion, the most beautiful place in...

Scharbeutz is, in my opinion, the most beautiful place in Lübeck Bay. The Grande Beachbar is highly recommended. Gosch and other restaurants are also worth a visit. The Greek restaurant "Traverne Rhodos" on Speckenstraße is an absolute must! I come several times a year, and it always feels like coming home!

We enjoyed the beach, relaxing in a beach chair and taking long walks along the shore. The restaurants and shops were excellent! Nearby attractions (including those in Lübeck, Niendorf, and Timmendorf) were easily accessible and well worth seeing.

We spent a long weekend in Scharbeutz.

We spent a long weekend in Scharbeutz. The highlight is the beach promenade with its long pier. It's a great place for a stroll, with plenty of restaurants (some quite overpriced) and lots of shops. Our tip: Take a boat trip to Travemünde with Hansa-Express; they depart several times a day from the pier.

The hotel staff went out of their way to stay open while we made our way from the Helsinki-Travemunde ferry. Nice looking hotel in a quiet village location. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. Breakfast had a cooked option plus a plate of meats and cheeses, with nice breads. Decent coffee.

The staff greeted us as soon as we entered and were very polite and friendly. He already also had everything ready and the check in process was very easy and smooth. The restaurant on the roof has amazing views great service and food. We also enjoyed the breakfast and spa as well.

Only 10 minutes away from Hansepark. 5 minutes walk from beach and restaurants. Flat was clean and comfortable. It had a nice garden if you wanted to sit outside.
