Breakfast was varied and very tasty. We were offered a room upgrade free of charge and the wellbeing of our dogs was taken into account. We used the sauna at the end of the day and it was lovely. The area is also very beautiful and the village is worth visiting! We loved our stay there and the staff was welcoming and helpful regardless of the language barrier (i.e., we don't speak German). The rooms were spotless clean. Other reviewers complain about the building not being very modern or modernly furnished.. this is not a chain or a Best Western and it's in a small village so it's definitely unreasonable to expect new furniture every year! Would definitely stay here again!

A large apartment with an interesting, iconic look. Close to Route 24, it's a good location if you're traveling by car between countries. There's one very large, comfortable bed in the living room, and one smaller one that's more average for a child. Anyone allergic to feathers must sleep without pillows, unless they're made of faux feathers.coffee alcohol in the fridge turned out to be paid :) it's a pity because in most places it's free (coffee)

The location is actually quite quiet.

The location is actually quite quiet. With the windows open, you can hear the traffic noise on the street, even on the opposite side. There's also fan noise. Unfortunately, the smoking room and the limited view of the fields detracted from the overall experience. Good, reasonably priced food is available in Benz, three kilometers away. The restaurant's prices don't reflect the quality of the food.

A great spot if you enjoy reading a book on the terrace.

A great spot if you enjoy reading a book on the terrace. There was nothing to do in the surrounding area. Just houses and businesses. No cafes, restaurants, or anything like that, no park. The nearest places to do are Parchim and Glewe. So you'll have to rely on the hotel restaurant or drive a fair distance to get something to eat.

Very friendly staff.

Very friendly staff. The surrounding area can be explored on foot, by train, or by car. Destinations include Schwerin, Plau am See, and Parchim, where you'll find Lake Wockersee with a small outdoor swimming pool right in the lake. For children, there's an elephant park, a monkey forest, and a summer toboggan run.

We arrived late in the evening and although the bar at the hotel was already closed, we still could buy the beer at the reception. Everything was good, nothing bad.
