TO KEEP IT SIMPLE Its a beautiful retreat, that truly embodies the essence of simplicity and tranquillity. Ideal for family and anybody likes peace, quite and nature. This place is without any doubt a “A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH" First and foremost, the rating I would give this retreat at least 20 out of 10, that how impressed i was. The hygiene standards were increable and detailed, the best I encountered sofar on my Europe trip. Making it a perfect for relaxing getaway with your loved once and furry friend’s. The room were exceptionally specious, and he design reflected clearly an eye for details. As for the environment surrounding the retreat was just as impressive, with wonderful forest walks and a opportunity to observe the local wildlife – a nature lovers paradise. As for the pricing, it was very reasonable considering the quality and experience you receive. There is absolutely no shortage of anything you might need during your stay. The host created a very warm family – friendly atmosphere . Would i come back ? absolutely , without any doubt and would recommend this retreat, YES wholeheartedly, to anyone who loves nature and is looking for a peaceful escape Peter Stolley (Ex- hotelier) For detail  RATING : 20 OUT OF 10  HYGIYNE : to highest, the best during my EUROPE trip  Totally family and animal friendly  Rooms : very spacious, the design shows an eye for details  Environment : great forest walks, with local wild life  Pricing : very reasonable for what to get  There is NO shortage of anything  Host : very family friendly atmosphere  Would I come back – yes for sure  Would I recommend: yes to anybody who loves nature

Cute old hotel decorated in an old style, which suits the hotel. The hotel is located in a small, cozy town. It was nice to get away from the big cities with a lot of noise and many people. We enjoyed it very much.

Sterup is a small village in Angeln that offers little besides nature. If you have business nearby, the Allmannskrug inn is okay for an overnight stay. However, there's no restaurant or comfortable outdoor seating.

I've already done that.

I've already done that. The hotel is suitable for short stays and business travelers – in my opinion, not for a long holiday. You can go on great bike rides or hikes there.

Sterup is a small village where not much happens.

Sterup is a small village where not much happens. We were aware of this, however. On the other hand, Schleswig, Flensburg, Kappeln, and the surrounding area are easily accessible by car. There is a small supermarket and a snack bar.

The town itself doesn't offer any major attractions, but by car you can quickly reach great places like Kappeln, Flensburg, or the Baltic Sea. You can also explore a lot by bike. Unfortunately, there are no restaurants in the town and only one supermarket.
