I slept here last night for work and am very pleased with my experience. For €86, I didn't expect much, but when I arrived I was surprised by the beautiful view and the great comfort in my room. I also had a rain shower. breakfast and evening meals were also absolutely great. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely sleep here again!

Völklingen is only interesting because of the Völklingen Ironworks. Otherwise, we had a very dreary impression. We certainly appreciate Turkish cuisine, but not when it's limited to kebabs and doner kebabs.

Völklingen's main attraction is the Völklingen Ironworks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A visit is highly recommended. The town itself isn't the most attractive, but the surrounding area is very beautiful. Cyclists should only use the designated cycle paths. Cycling into the town is extremely dangerous.

The Völklingen Ironworks is an absolute must-see; even my 8-year-old son was completely captivated. There are also many other great places to visit from there, such as the Saar Loop, Amnéville Zoo (France), Trier, the Moselle Loop, etc.

Völklingen itself was rather small and unremarkable.

Völklingen itself was rather small and unremarkable. Saarbrücken was considerably larger and much busier. However, our main destination was the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Völklingen Ironworks. And it was definitely worth a visit!

Völklingen is a dirty city. There's trash everywhere.

Völklingen is a dirty city. There's trash everywhere. There are few nice restaurants or cafes. Industry dominates. Many storefronts are vacant. It's not a city for relaxation. The Saar Cycle Path is difficult to access. There's too much traffic on the roads. Sections of the cycle path are closed.

Völklingen and the surrounding area are fantastic; the Völklingen Ironworks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is definitely worth seeing. There was so much to admire, and the restaurants were superb. The proximity to attractions like the Saar Loop, the Saarbrücken City Theatre, and much more is also great.

This was probably the top experience on booking. I have seen many stunning places, but I didnt expect much from this hotel - but it was a 5***** experience! It was purely luxurious, from the large rooms, large bed, extremely comfy, the beautiful furniture, the bathroom, design, real glasses, water in the room, coffee in the room. Everything feels like walking in a Hilton, and im not really kidding. Didnt expect this at all. This overexceeded my expectations, and we definitely come back.
