Our apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very conform table and the shower was great. The kind owner even brought us extra duvet and heater because I am too sensitive to cold, which I fee truly grateful. We will stay in the same apartment next time we visit this area and we recommend 100% !

Within walking distance (within 5 minutes) is an excellent restaurant Haus des Gastes with friendly service in a traditional style. Throughout the village there are houses with painted facades, pleasant walks around the village including the immediate surroundings and panoramic trails. The nearest large EDEKA store is in the neighboring village of Krün, including a bakery. In the village itself and in the neighboring village there is a large selection of quality restaurants.

Wallgau has been my travel destination for about 40 years; I visit on average 2-3 times a year, at different times of the year. This time, I intended and expected to go cross-country skiing in Wallgau, but this wasn't possible due to a lack of snow. Instead, I drove to Leutasch every day of my 9-day stay, which wasn't too much of a hassle.

Wallgau is very friendly.

Wallgau is very friendly. In the nearby village of Krun, you can rent excellent bikes. Definitely do it; you can get everywhere by bike and see so much more. It's also handy that the guesthouse gives you a summer bus pass, which allows you to travel to the nearby villages for free. Ideal! Wallgau has several restaurants with excellent food.

Wallgau is beautifully nestled among the mountains. There are many ways to spend your time, especially for hikers and cyclists. You can enjoy excellent food in the local inns, where regional dishes are served alongside classic favorites. If you're looking for peace and quiet in nature, this is the place for you.

Wallgau is a peaceful place, perfect for relaxation.

Wallgau is a peaceful place, perfect for relaxation. It's also an excellent starting point for walks and hikes. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes. Lake Walchensee is very close by, offering numerous opportunities for swimming, hiking, cycling, and mountaineering.
