We had a wonderful stay at Motel Hune apartments. Everything was even better than in the pictures and so beautifully equipped. There is so much love in all the details - from furniture (very comfy beds), to the dishes, cutlery, decoration aso. Everything was perfectly clean and we instantly felt at home. Honestly I also could have moved in. :D And this is something that rarely happens to me when I stay at a new place. The hosts were super nice as well and gave us some great tips for what we could de. Oh if only we would have had a little more time. Because the location of the motel is perfect and just a short drive to the beach of Blokhus (no matter if by car or bike or even a nice walk) and also very close to Fårup Sommerland (that’s where we were heading). And in case you wanna pick up some groceries for breakfast, there is a supermarket literally opposite to the motel - which is crazy convenient. This definitely was not our last stay at the fantastic Motel Hune.

The whole environment around the accommodation was so calm and relaxing. Erik, who greeted me and showed me my room, was exceptional. He was so warm and welcoming; and incredibly kind and helpful. What a gem amidst a wonderful garden. Thank you, Erik.

Very cosy and charming circus hut, with the use of a nice sharing lounge. Tiny little walk to the toilet/ shower room. Bathrobes provided. Great breakfast provided at the beach cafe, nice start to the day. We loved our stay and would happily return.

lt’s very clean and tidy place. The manager is a very nice person. We arrived and there was no reservation, he arrived when it was already late in the evening and helped us settle in.

I loved this hotel. The design and furniture were excellent. Everything is freshly painted. A great view of the sea in the distance, nice to watch the sun setting. Used the little glass shed to shelter from the wind and drink wine with friends. The meal was excellent. The staff were very nice.

Cute danish town with an amazing beach.

Cute danish town with an amazing beach. We even drove there with car and parked just a few meters away to watch the sunset. The town itself has a variety of restaurants to choose from. Also you can find the 'Skulpturparken Blokhus' and a Paper-Art Museum.

Lovely beach, lovely hotel, lovely restaurants, good shops. What a shame about the large construction with holiday homes that dominates the town so much. It could have been built more beautifully and there is no aesthetics to it.

Blokhus has a wonderful beach and offers many opportunities...

Blokhus has a wonderful beach and offers many opportunities for hiking and cycling. We know that cars drive on beaches in Denmark. However, in Blokhus, this has become so excessive, also due to a considerable number of campervans, that I wouldn't want to be there in the height of summer. Many cars also drive far too fast across the beach.

Everything is easily accessible.

Everything is easily accessible. Both in the town and the neighboring village, there are plenty of shops for daily needs, as well as restaurants. The beach is within walking distance of the town center and offers many quiet spots if you venture a little to the left or right.

There is a lovely beach and good places to eat, but there is...

There is a lovely beach and good places to eat, but there is a bit lacking for the young, it is mostly for families with children and the elderly, but since we belong to the latter group it is ok for us. My favourite place to eat was Futten, there was music every day in the high season and the food was really good, and the service was really good.

Excellent attractions, especially the Sculpture Park.

Excellent attractions, especially the Sculpture Park. But also the Paper Art Museum and Ane Just Garden are worth a visit. The town of Blokhus is neat and well-maintained, friendly service everywhere. Lots of good restaurants with good service.

It was a good hotel with nice people with a high standard. It is more expensiv than other hotels (restaurant, stay, ...). The food at the restaurant was good for breakfast, lunch or evening. For the breakfast, they only could have changed the selection, so you can eat different things during a longer stay. One negativ point was there no jam at the buffet.

A cosy and delicate seaside hotel. Comfortable beds, facilities like coffemaker, minifrigde and waterboiler. Wine and content of the minibar were free of charge, a very appealing touch to the service. Nice indoor pool. Short walk to the waste beach. Excellent food (dinner and breakfast)
