The breakfast was healthy with a range of organic milks, fruits, selection of tasty teas and coffee with fresh warm bread. The accommodation was situated in wonderful nature. The property was full of charming character such as the thatched roof, beautiful flowering garden, with spacious areas around the property to explore. The sleeping quarters and kitchen had a beautiful attention to detail, from the oak staircase and floors upstairs, to tiny detail like wooden door handles and artistic pictures on the walls outside our room. The shower and bathroom was also very spacious and spotlessly clean. The pictures don't do justice to how good the place is. The property owners were both lovely, kind and helpful. Holger was very friendly and interesting to talk to as he shared his local knowledge. They were so nice they brought us back to the bus stop and even went as far as bringing us all the way to Lego house.. If you ever get a chance to stay here don't hesitate. You will be amazed.

The name does not lie, the cottages are tiny. But they are also awesome. A real-life Moomin cottage. The sofa downstairs folds into a bed, but we ended up squeezing in, all five of us, on the sleeping loft just because it was so cozy.

That was the best Bed&Breakfast we ever had! The place is amazing, sooo clean and tiny. Everything is extremely convenient and very thoughtful. We were amazed with the rooms and breakfast. We never experienced such an amazing breakfast! If we need to come to Denmark again, we will 100% be back!

If you have your own car, you can go there.

If you have your own car, you can go there. The rental price is attractive. The location is remote. Public transport runs every hour from 6 a.m. until evening, and doesn't run at night. If you have a lot of time and need something for a long period, you can choose rooms here, but it's better to have your own car.

Animals for the kids.

Animals for the kids. The whole area was shabby and the buildings were in poor condition. The interior was creepy and very untidy. I really didn't feel like going into the kitchen to cook. Breakfast wasn't even offered, despite the promise.

Grinsted is a strategic point for visiting the surrounding area, easily reaching Legoland, Ribe, Ringkobin, etc... Less expensive than neighboring towns and very pleasant for those who love being surrounded by greenery.

Next time we go there, we'll probably choose a day or two more so we can also enjoy the hotel, but we've just had/used this nice place to stay overnight.. but we've enjoyed it... thanks for this time and hopefully see you again. 😄

we stayed two nights in this hotel. the owners respond quickly to emails and are very welcoming and kind . the rooms are clean and very close to the bathrooms which are clean and basic. the structure is well connected with two bus lines and is very close to the bus station so the hostel is easy to find. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to visit billund and its attractions.

We stayed at Grindsted due to an event my son attended, and for that purpose the apartment was ideally located. We brought our bikes and biked 7 minutes to the event location. Legoland and Lalandia (for example) are accessible by public transportation as well (30-40 minutes by bus).

Delicious breakfast. Small but cozy rooms. Playground at the back of the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location - close to the airport, Legoland, LaLandia and Givskud Zoo. Reasonable price.
