I recently stayed at Hotel Hesselet, and it was a wonderful experience. The setting is absolutely stunning—right between the forest and the sea—with peaceful views and a calming atmosphere throughout. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had a beautiful view of the forest. The staff were warm and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was exceptional, with fresh ingredients and elegant presentation (I especially enjoyed the scrumbled eggs and the croissants!). I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Nyborg, either alone or with company!

It is one of the best house we have ever stayed. It is above my expectation. The owner always response my question quickly. My two kids(7 and 9) love it so much and they want to stay for few more days if possible. There is a cherry tree in the yard, but unfortunately, it was not ripe when we visited.

Very friendly host! The room was cozy and very clean. Also the breakfast was great; the fridge is filled with good food and there’s also coffee, tea, different juices and so on. It was also nice that my dog was very welcome too!

Nyborg until late 90 was a very busy train and car-ferry...

Nyborg until late 90 was a very busy train and car-ferry town. That changed with the completion of the Store Belt Bridge. My impression is that the town has been able to cope with these changes creating a lively newly build peripheral. The location with a waterfront in town center as well as beaches and forests further out are invaluable assets. Apart from that of course the Castle, a must see. Nyborg is a small town but rich in history, and a number of attractive beach front hotels.

Rooms very basic, cleanness not up to standard. Reception and Bistro staff...EXCELLENT! Breakfast, in my option, offers more than enough for everyone's needs, but unfortunately the breakfast staff is not very attentive to the guests. Maybe not the best way to start your day but the view makes up for it. Rest of the staff, again made our short visit fantastic!

Nyborg was cozy with several small streets and a nice square. Really good atmosphere around the river, lake and castle. Unfortunately the castle was under extensive restoration and closed. We look forward to coming back and seeing it when it opens. We ate at the restaurant “Ophav”. A small intimate place with good food and fantastic service and live music afterwards

Lovely little town.

Lovely little town. We were just passing through for one night. We cycled around Denmark. And frankly, it's perfectly feasible (thanks to the trains, in particular) to stay in Nyborg for a few days to visit various tourist attractions such as Odense... The town is quite calm and clean. The beach is very pretty.

Stunning location! Large hotel.

Stunning location! Large hotel. A lot of money for what it offers. You'd expect at least air conditioning and a larger restaurant with a higher standard. Breakfast was disorganized and there wasn't enough space.

Fantastic place.

Fantastic place. We stayed in the house called The Grand Nyborg Stay which is located in a nice and quiet area with easy access to the city. We were very happy to stay there and we will definitely book there again. All in all a good experience.

Very nice facilities (spa and gym) and friendly staff! Bikes could be rented for free making travel between hotel and the centre quick and easy! The property also had free-to-play darts, pool, table tennis, and table football, which we enjoyed a lot. The room was like shown in the pictures. There were some stains in the bathroom, but besides that the room and facilities were clean.

Lovely location, close to the main road but didn’t notice the traffic noise. Lovely outside space although didn’t get to use it personally due to the time of year we stayed. Rooms comfortable. We had a shared bathroom but didn’t cause a problem. Nice kitchen area to make breakfast. Close to Nyborg which was a surprising gem of a place to visit

A really lovely place to stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a tastefully restored old building with lots of character and artwork. We appreciated the free coffee machine which was available for use 24/7. There is a secluded garden with an orangie to enjoy if the weather turns bad. First rate breakfast.

Right on the beach, friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms with lovely balcony (ours didn’t have a view though). Comfortable beds and good breakfast included. Hotel has a lovely atmosphere, you relax as you walk in the door.
