Charming stylish boutique hotel, perfectly located in a small, historic village by the sea. The completely uncrowded beach is 100m from the hotel. The facilities were excellent, staff first class and general environment unbelievably calm and relaxing. Regrettably we were passing through so only spent one night. Next time hopefully a bit longer. If like us you are driving from elsewhere in Europe to Sweden via the Puttgarden ferry, this is a perfect place to over-night.

We arrived late in the evening and had no trouble checking in, as the keys were left in a box at the entrance to the apartments. The apartments are located right in the center, near the town hall, and less than a 10-minute walk from the train station in a straight line. Being in the center gives easy access to all the amenities—transportation, cafes, and attractions are all within walking distance. The entrance to the apartments is directly from the street, and they are on the ground floor, which makes you feel like part of the town. It's a pleasant experience overall.

Breakfast was fresh, cozy and kid friendly. Bedroom was clean and spacious for 4 people, it had a fan an a small fridge, which was very practical. Beds were comfortable and the owner was very friendly, if traveling back in that area, we will definitely stay again. Grocery stores were within 6 minutes away by car, and knuthenborg safari was close and easy to drive from there. 100% recommended.

Nice hotel, also for a bicycle traveller. The bike can be parked in a safe place during the night. The room and bathroom are specious and clean. Breakfast was very good. There is a (fancy) restaurant in the hotel, but other restaurants are within walking distance.

Nice walk to Dodekalitten through the forest.

Nice walk to Dodekalitten through the forest. Grocery store and restaurant at the harbor. The campsite has a small cafe. From Kragenæs Harbor there are ferries to both Fejø, Femø and Askø. Possibility of island hopping. Fejø in particular is suitable for a bike ride. It is 20 minutes by car to Knuthenborg Safari Park.

Nicely close to Maribo with several attractions - the...

Nicely close to Maribo with several attractions - the cathedral, the tour boat "Anemonen", open-air museum and veteran railway Maribo-Bandholm and Knuthenborg Safari Park. Other attractions within reasonable driving distance include Peter Hansen's garden southwest of Nakskov and the Medieval Center at Nykøbing F, just as the stone sculptures "Dodekalitten" at Kragenæs are worth a visit.
