Charming stylish boutique hotel, perfectly located in a small, historic village by the sea. The completely uncrowded beach is 100m from the hotel. The facilities were excellent, staff first class and general environment unbelievably calm and relaxing. Regrettably we were passing through so only spent one night. Next time hopefully a bit longer. If like us you are driving from elsewhere in Europe to Sweden via the Puttgarden ferry, this is a perfect place to over-night.

We really enjoyed the warm welcome, the nice room, and the good bed. The breakfast was also just right with freshly baked buns and a perfectly boiled eggs. We will be back.

We arrived late in the evening and had no trouble checking in, as the keys were left in a box at the entrance to the apartments. The apartments are located right in the center, near the town hall, and less than a 10-minute walk from the train station in a straight line. Being in the center gives easy access to all the amenities—transportation, cafes, and attractions are all within walking distance. The entrance to the apartments is directly from the street, and they are on the ground floor, which makes you feel like part of the town. It's a pleasant experience overall.

Breakfast was fresh, cozy and kid friendly. Bedroom was clean and spacious for 4 people, it had a fan an a small fridge, which was very practical. Beds were comfortable and the owner was very friendly, if traveling back in that area, we will definitely stay again. Grocery stores were within 6 minutes away by car, and knuthenborg safari was close and easy to drive from there. 100% recommended.

Lunch at Kernegården and Hideaway is ONLY recommended.

Lunch at Kernegården and Hideaway is ONLY recommended. The Mill should also be visited if you are interested in seeing what a mill looks like inside, as it is possible to get all the way to the top. There are good opportunities for a run - along the beach or on gravel roads between the fields. You greet everyone you meet - even those driving by car - very differently than in a big city.

The house is well located by the harbor and its own beach.

The house is well located by the harbor and its own beach. It is tastefully and somewhat rustically furnished. With an older kitchen but with all the facilities such as dishwasher and washing machine, stove, etc. Large terrace with Weber barbecue and cover. Good host who provides good service.
