Great value for money! Everything is nice clean and working, made with good taste. Buffee type breakfast. Location close to Interamericana but still easily walkable to the centre. Host Paola speaks English and gave me good advice regarding bus transport. Laundry service available.

We had an amazing stay at Ruta de los volcanes. The rooms were clean and with hot water. The location is perfect for the Cotopaxi National Park. Darwin was such a wonderful host. He helped us planning our hike in the park and even helped us with our planning for the next days in Ecuador. Even though one night we were the only guests, the fireplace was lit for us and we got the best meal we had eaten in weeks.

I had a great stay at Mateospaxi. Aracely, the owner, was so friendly and helpful, yoy really feel very welcome. She helped us with suggestions for hikes and for the transportation to get there. One night we had dinner with her, it was delicious.

A wonderful garden like base. it’s a real privilege to stay in Diego and Janeth‘s lovely casa. Cosy and spacious, spotlessly clean, outstanding breakfast and free tea around the lovely fireplace to return to in the evenings. Full of inspirational pictures from Diego’s climbing business and plenty of advice of how to enjoy the nearby area.

The food was the best we had on our vacation. The staff were extra kind and accommodating. Horseback riding, jacuzzi, billiards, darts, fireplace were all fun and relaxing. Sightseeing in the middle of 5 volcanoes (including mildly active Cotopaxi) between 6am and 8am was the absolute most awe-inspiring landscape view I have ever seen. Nobody saw the peak & plume for 3 weeks before we got there. Don't miss this destination on your itinerary!

Ideal location to start summit to Iliniza Norte or Sur, or just do hiking. Frank, the landlord, is a nice and helpful guy who can rent climbing gear for very affordable prices and provide any sort of advice and sort your problems. Recommend Iliniza Wasi for hikers and climbers.
