We were a family and this hotel is really family friendly. The people at the restaurant are nice and understanding.
Our boys were invited to play football with the young boys who work at the hotel...

It is also in a quiet area at a walking distance from the main snorkeling areas of lighthouse and mashraba. But above all the staff was incredible! United KingdomThe location was perfect right on the sea shore and just a short walk to the busier tourist area of Dahab. The appartment worked well for our family and the cafe served a wide range a food for breakfast as well as fresh juices and snacks - all with a beautiful view from the beach. The swimming pool was fantastic - lovely and warm which was perfect in the chilly evenings. The hotel also arranged a trip to Jebel Musah for us which was a highlight of the week and they helped arrange a diving course for us once we arrived.

I came here for the snorkelling and was not disappointed.
I came here for the snorkelling and was not disappointed. A good coral reef just off the shore, plenty of fish, rays, eels, visibility around 17 metres and water temperature around 27 C. Plenty of good waterfront restaurants, and a good place from which to base day trips to places such as Ras Mahomed National Park, the Blue Hole etc.

Dahab is a small seaside town; there are plenty of seaside activities. One might think that small size and quant location that life here would be pretty laid back. You would be wrong especially when it comes to driving. The drivers are manical, they are rude and completly wreckless. You should also be careful when eating. Because they recognize you as a tourist, they know you are never coming back. Dahab is worth visiting but you need to be vigilent especially in traffic.

Dahab is positive and vibrant. Way more chill than the way too expensive overrated sharm el sheikh! Taxi drivers should be ignored! Dahab has so many so amazing cafes and bars! Perfect for snorkelling and low budget! You can hike u can live easy as digital nomad u can dive in blue hole and elsewhere of course! Easy accessable via local bus or go bus or other bus companies

Dahab is still magical and simple just like the first time, we need to respect it's nature and culture, so please do not throw plastic waste or touch the corals, it's on of the best places for diving and snorkeling and it is not comparable with other cities.

This was my fourth trip to Dahab but my first in about 15...
This was my fourth trip to Dahab but my first in about 15 years. In my previous trips I loved the scuba diving and the relaxing vibe of the town. When I returned on this trip I was delighted to discover that, even though the town is bigger, Dahab has retained its low-key vibe. The businesses are local, which is part of its charm. This trip was shorter, so I mostly focused on scuba diving. There are lots of other activities, many of which I did on previous trips. In the evenings I went to restaurants. Many have patios, that overlook the red sea. Dahab tends to be a bit windy, so there often was always a nice ocean breeze to keep things cool as the sun set, Idyllic.

We chose the Villa and it was extraordinary. From A-Z, the service, cleanliness, and food was perfect. We had options of a continental breakfast that consisted of basics needed to keep you energized the whole day and an option of a traditional Egyptian breakfast which was extremely tasteful. Only 5 minutes from the lagoon and 5 minutes from the boardwalk area which made it a perfect walking distance. Thank you Ibrahim for giving us a great time. We will definitely be coming again and with a bigger group and booking both Villas.

This is a great place! Managed by expats, not Egyptians, so you will have everything you need without having to ask. Good location, close to Assalah and Lighthouse. Everything in the house was working just fine (which is unusual for Dahab), except one issue with the internet, but it was eventually fixed and the host arranged an alternative very quickly. I could easily let my 5 y.o. son play in the yard by himself with the other kids because the entrance gate has a code lock so no outsiders are getting inside. Highly recommend!

The staff and property are wonderful. Everything was well taken care of.
The beautiful landscaped gardens and flowers everywhere were very beautiful.
And the buffet breakfast was the largest and best I have had in all of Egypt.
Nesma, who was a staff member making sure my stay was as good as can be, was extremely helpful and professional.
I extended my stay here 3 times and I will happily go back on my next visit to Dahab.
High recommend Safir Dahab Resort Hotel!

The warmth and helpfulness of the staff is remarkable. The breakfast is delicious and absolutely sufficient.
Hotels in Dahab rarely have such good WiFi as the Bedouin Moon.
The mountain view room is simply furnished but you will find everything you need and have a breathtaking view of the mountain. The lighting of the complex after sunset makes you feel like you are in a magical little paradise.
I will definitely come back.
