Very clean, new, nicely designed apartment. Swimming pool is very small, but if you want to refresh - it is totally usable. They gave us opportunity to move our booking 1 day earlier as our visit to Caminito del Rey was moved because of the weather - big thanks for that! Also seafood resto that lady on the reception recommended was good!

Ardales was a surprise highlight of our trip.

Ardales was a surprise highlight of our trip. We stayed to visit the Caminito del Rey but the town itself is lovely - a very pretty and steep white village. Parking is easy. We missed the caves nearby but they sounded cool. There is a nice lake which is near the entrance to Caminito del Rey where you can bathe and hire pedalos and canoes. We went in the church at the top of the hill and a really nice man was there to tell us the interesting history of Ardales - it was a great opportunity to practice our Spanish! We didn’t eat in the restaurants, they looked quite basic but had a lively feel with locals sitting out in the evening. A really nice atmosphere.

Great for a short stay & exploring the mountains.

Great for a short stay & exploring the mountains. All amenities available on the very pretty Main Street, inc restaurants/ cafes/ ice cream parlour, pharmacy & other shops. Plenty of on street parking around. You may struggle in Ardales if you had mobility issues.

Lovely accommodation, perfectly located for our trip to Caminito del Rey. The Caminito is definitely a must for a visit to the area. Amazing gorge hike with spring flowers everywhere. Dizzying views of the gorge and river bed. We saw lots of birds of prey and an otter plus wild goats. If we return we’d be interested in seeing some of the local caves. We ran out of time and some are open only at specific times.

OK if you want a quiet break near to walks and lovely...

OK if you want a quiet break near to walks and lovely scenery. But make sure you get the room you booked.Dont bother with the extra cost of Parking you can easily park in the road.Plus the garage is very tiny and on a steep downhill.

the place was good for nature travellers, the room has no specific fascilities. the Building it was beautiful , it has parking . the wifi wa snot good. the TV was not working good and only 2-3 chanells could be seen.

Everything was stressless from meeting the owner with the key and following him to accommodation..to finding everything we needed for our stay..the village was 20mins walk two minutes drive and a nice plaza for taking in the local atmosphere..

Great location to stay if you plan visit Caminito del Rey. Free parking is next to the hotel. The start point of caminito is just ~20 mins by foot - we reached it with my kids easily. Staff is also very helpful - I had a flat tire of my rented car and the guy at the reception helped me with English to Spanish translation. Also explained us what is the best way to reach caminito.

If you are looking 4 star luxury then is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a clean room and comfortable bed at a reasonable price then look no further. The hotel is at the edge of a small village and has a restaurant which served reasonably price local food. There are also other restaurants in the nearby village. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Location was good and Ardales is a very scenic base for a night. The apartment was well equipped but double bed was small, the gym was excellent but the jacuzzi was like a plunge pool so not usable. It felt expensive relative to what we have paid for the rest of our trip that has taken us all around Andalusia.

Location was close to town. It’s a well equipped large family home, bathrooms were great, beds comfy. Ardales is fascinating to explore, many narrow, steep streets and traditional architecture.
