The hotel and staff were wonderful. Ideal location, close to everything. A very welcoming, safe, clean and comfortable stay. The breakfast and coffee was also delicious. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend to stay here if you are visiting Elorrio and even as a home base to do day trips to other places such as Bilbao, San Sebastián, Durango etc. Many restaurants and bars and shopping are close walking distance and the bus stop is less than 5 min walk away. A great place!!! Nico and the rest of the staff are so nice!

An excellent hotel. Attentive client experience. Plenty of options for eating on site (Cafeteria / Restaurant) Plentiful car parking safe & easy. (no cost) Rooms are clean, spacious & ours had an excellent shower! We ate at the hotel in the restaurant. The food was wonderful. Good sized portions with an abundance of taste. (Fish & meat dish) would definitely use the restaurant again. For breakfast we used the cafeteria area, all self service apart from drinks (coffee , tea etc) As a heads up though it was quiet in terms of people staying, the hotel was packed with people using the restaurant, always a good sign! A really enjoyable stay & would recommend as we would definitely stay again.

Decor - very quirky. Rooms all different. Nice breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice. Early checkin. Safe cycle storage. 2 doors away from very good restaurant - Sirimiri - excellent lunchtime meal. Bergara - lots of old buildings, fascinating museum about Wolframite and Enlightenment movement in Bergara (lots of hands-on features), not at all boring !

First of all the hotel was a rectangle with rectangular rooms, a rare find in Europe. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. As for the town, we found it very picturesque and charming. Most restaurants don't open until 8:00pm which is common in Spain. My wife's maiden name is Mondragon so we went to the city hall to get find out more about the town. We got the royal treatment from the service manager herself. She gave us maps and talked with us about the history of the town. She then left her office and gave us a personal guided tour with access to the town hall meeting room and cupola. Her service was above and beyond anything that I expected. The very next day was a festival day with a running of bulls though the city. Unfortunately we had a strict itinerary and couldn't stay one more day. Check the calendar of cultural events online before you go so that you don't miss out like we did.

My room was large, clean, tidy, and comfortable and was large enough in which, to store my bicycle. The person who was on reception when I arrived and served me breakfast was helpful and kind and spoke English really well. The breakfast was adequate and kept me satisfied until lunchtime. The hotel is centrally located and easily found. I would return to the hotel again.

The localization it is very nice, and also the staff. They were very kind and supportive with all the questions that I made, since the booking phase. There are a lot of restaurants and bars close to the hotel, and event with this, the place is quiet and silent.

Nice room, nice staff, central location and nice breakfast. I was on a motor bike and although the garage was full they offered to direct me to a free car park, but there is a public specific bike bay just 20 metres from the hotel entrance which i used.
