I can absolute recommend the hotel liresca. Renovated/rebuilt only a few years ago, the house is warm, modern and pleasantly minimalistic. everything is bright and clean. the restaurant (breakfast and lunch) invites with fine dishes. the owners and the staff are very friendly. On the "camino dos faros" or on the "way of St. James"? The liresca is worth it!

Great, highly recommended experience. Very nice landlord, gave a lot of recommendations on where to go to eat or for a walk. The house is old rural style but renovated and very comfortable. There was a small balcony in my room with a table and chairs so it was nice to sit there in the evening. I also recommend ordering a breakfast, it was delicious.

Hotel in the town center, everything was perfect. Great hotel restaurant, where we had an excellent dinner (excellent food, big portions), just the restaurant with the bar were closing pretty early taking into account spanish habits (at 11 p.m.), good breakfast.

Lires is a lovely little village in a great location.

Lires is a lovely little village in a great location. There are lots of good walks you can take around the area, the Camino de Santiago runs through it. The beach is nice and there is a bar / restaurant there. There are several good bars and restaurants in the village and it is only a few kilometres from Cee where there are plenty of supermarkets and several banks.

Brilliant place. Family run. Warm and welcoming. Well thought out amenities. Salt pool was amazing. The restaurant was lovely. My daughter and I loved staying here. Definitely recommend...oh and 2 cute bunnies run about on the lawn. :)

If you want to escape the city and are looking for a balance between the countryside and the sea... this is a great option. What I loved most was falling asleep and feeling the sound, or rather the roar, of the waves crashing on the ocean.

Lires is located on the Camino pilgrimage route, halfway between Muxia and Fisterra. The ocean coast nearby is fantastic, with sandy and rocky beaches, everything is peaceful and quiet. There is no mass tourism. If I could, I would like to spend more time here.

It's a very picturesque village, and all its inhabitants are very welcoming to visitors. I recommend staying at the As Eiras hotel and restaurant; the food is spectacular, served by the owners themselves, and the quality and service are excellent.

It's a very peaceful town and my stay at Casa Raúl was fantastic. The people in the restaurants were incredibly friendly and the food was exceptional. I highly recommend it; it was a wonderful experience. I hope to return soon.

Lires is in a beautiful location half way between Muxia and Finisterre. If you have the time and inclination it deserves 2 nights. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and the beds very comfortable. My room had lovely view through bi-fold windows over the town to the estuary: the attached image is from the room. The bathroom is a good size as is the shower. The hotel has an excellent bar and restaurant: the chef knows his stuff. The staff are professional, accommodating and friendly. The price of the room was most reasonable.

The location was great, Lires is a lovely little village. There was parking right outside and we often had breakfast or a drink in the bar downstairs. Our hosts were great, especially when we had car problems -Mario was really helpful. The apartment was well supplied with linen and towels and the kitchen was well equipped.

We loved Lires to start with. The property was very nice. We even had a splash in the heated pool, although it was not really swimming weather. I loved all the animals on the premise.
