If you like modern, luxury hotels- this one is not for you. But if you're looking fore an authentic, rural climate- its perfect! The area was beauriful, i loved the romantic, vintage vibe. We loved real, old antique furniture. Bathroom was pretty modern and clean. Restaurant is really nice, we had delicious dinner there. And hens walking around in the morning... What an atmosphere!

It is not an exaggeration that it is one of the nicest apartmments I have ever stayed for a holiday. I have to say it is a bit outside of the town center and there is a steep climb you need to do in order to get there, but if you are driving a car that should not be a problem. We did not, so yeah, we had our daily training by doing this. 🙂 Apart from this, the flat, the little terrace and views are just perfect. The flat is very stylish and has everything that you need. Carmen, the host, was very welcoming, friendly and available for all of our requests. My Spanish is not great, but the communication worked fine by using a translator app. As bonus, there are cute cats coming by to visit. We managed to attract not one, not two, but four kitties, and 3 of them were black, probably one family. 🙂

After my day of hiking I ended up at this absolutely beautiful place. The plan was to stay for 1 night but I just loved the vibe the atmosphere and it just felt for a short time like home for me so I extended from night to night and didn't want to leave. The manager and people who work there are absolutely amazing and will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The view is stunning and the sunset or sunrise is just unreal and magical. It's the perfect location to slow down and find peace in yourself surrounded by beautiful people and nature. Highly recommended the dinner and breakfast which is healthy and powerful and will be fresh cooked. The beds are super comfortable and the rooms are bathrooms are nice and clean.

Mountain town with beautiful surroundings. Many restaurants. On new years day only a few of them were open. Maybe the restaurant we choose was understaffed, we had to cancel our orders after waiting for more than an hour, without getting anything to eat.

Tejeda is surrounded by great walks in complex scenery.

Tejeda is surrounded by great walks in complex scenery. The village is located in a giant 20km diameter volcanic caldera with many rocky ridges around. The historic village is lovely, with lots of public parking available. Do leave plenty of time to travel there though as the roads to get there are tortuous, narrow, winding and slow. Therefore it's well worth staying a few nights in the place. Amazing and unusual place, well worth visiting.

The mountain guide, Piergiorgio Pallara, chose a fantastic route for a pleasant hike near Tejeda. Another day we hiked from Texada Hostal to Artenara. After a day of hiking we enjoyed fine meals in Tejada’s restaurants.

Tejeda is one of the most beautiful villages on the island.

Tejeda is one of the most beautiful villages on the island. There's plenty of restaurants - also open in the evening (which is not obvious as a lot of them close at 17:00) and one of the best "dulcerias" of Gran Canaria.

Set high up in the mountains Tejeda provides fabulous views of the surrounding mountains and rock features. It is also a good base to explore the whole island and the towns and views it offers. The bars and restaurants offer a good range of Canarian dishes. The main street is laid out as a precinct with some moving traffic with stunning balcony views of the surrounds.

Great Parador for a break on the camino ! The village of Cruz de Tejeda is small, only 2 accommodation options. It is welcoming for all pilgrins. It’s not cheap, but de rooms are good - very clean and spatious. Also the Spa service are great for a relaxing afternoon. 🎟️ Booking in advance is mandatory. You can stamp your credentials there. We stayed for just one night on a cycle tour. Eva was really friendly and let us put our bikes inside the hotel. We had a lovely spacious room on the second floor with great views from the terrace. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant recommended by the hotel. The breakfast was very good. We would love to return and stay for longer in this lovely part of the island.

Our best experience at Gran Canaria. This place is a hidden gem, we loved everything. Attention to details you can't imagine, anything we thought about during our stay was there. Kudos to the host, really made with the big heart 👏 The only disappointment was that we booked only 3 nights 😀

Amazing stay for the price, in the centre of Tejeda. Lots of local restaurants and shops. Great place to stay for couples and smaller families. Close to local highlights such as the Roque Nublo & Pico del Nieves. Fantastic communication with the host and free parking. Couldn't ask for more.
