We had the most perfect and enjoyable time at the Sofitel. Our accommodation was amazing, the food was magnificent, plentiful and of the highest standard. The Staff were unbelievably helpful and always pleased to help, each with a beautiful smile. The facilities were first class, so much so that we were sad to leave. We had the perfect time. This is not to be missed.

Room was clean, modern and bright. The air conditioning worked great. Breakfast had every option you could think of. The resort has beautiful grounds and is nicely spread out. The resort has a calendar of daily activities. We participated in basket weaving which was so fun and informative. The best part is the staff! Very kind, helpful, accommodating, and responsive. The staff is what stands out the most about our stay.

we liked the close proximity to the Port, walking distance to grocery stores. Also the Pool area restaurant was so convenient. We would definitely stay at the Teraces on our next Fiji visit. We also had a room at the Palms next door and it made us comfortable to walk over there . Although there was small scale flooding on the road and parking lot, we were shelted with the use of a complimentary house umbrella and the use of water proof slippers.

If staying in Denarau get a Bula Bus ticket $12 for the whole day unlimited rides from 7 am? until 11 pm. it circulates every 15 minutes - so much fun and easy to get around. Loved Bonefish at Port Denarau for meal and cocktails (and other restaurants lovely too) The bakery is amazing - really cheap tasty fresh food - bread was only $1.60 Fiji dollars Some lovely shops and also spa treatments, henna tattoo and braiding available. Sails restaurant is also a great spot for a sneaky drink or two and/or lunch/dinner. We had a drink and light snack there while waiting for our ferry out to Tokoriki Island - amazing!

We spent an incredible week in Fiji and are already looking forward to our next visit. Denarau provided a safe and welcoming environment, and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting the friendly locals. Our stay at the Hilton was exceptional, surpassing all our expectations. The Bula Bus was a fantastic way to explore the area, making our holiday experience even more enjoyable.

Denarau is a good safe place to go with your family and Port Denarau has affordable shops with lots to do. Great to go from one resort to another however morally I didn't feel right spending all my money at the resorts who appear to be the only ones that profit from it. Didn't feel right that the original landowners get nothing due to their government law change and the people who maintain and work at the resort get paid peanuts. Big Bula was too expensive don't know how they justify their rates but made sure my kids got their money's worth. All in all think Denarau is a bit overrated.

Denarau is a controlled entry island with multiple resorts...

Denarau is a controlled entry island with multiple resorts and tourism options. It really is built for the tourist and is not an 'authentic Fijian' place. It is however very clean, safe, and ideal for families who need everything in close proximity. There is a fantastic Bula Bus which takes you around the different resorts and to the port which has a multitude of shopping and tourism options.

Very beautiful island however it’s very dark on the roads at...

Very beautiful island however it’s very dark on the roads at night, really needs street lights. And remark the speed humps on the road, for new comers it’s invincible. The pay parking at the centre Denarau shops. We had dinner for maybe 2hr and it only cost 4.50 and the next night we only stay for an hr or less and it cost 5.80 how does that work out like that. But a very beautiful place. I don’t have photos but please have a look at night.

Great for meals & drinks at night plus a few clothes, bakery & grocery shops. Plenty of cruises & island-hopping excursions available. Handful of hotels to choose from. The famous "Bula Bus" to ride around all hotels & into Port Denarau.

The hotel is very nice, clean and new. The room was great with an ocean view and a balcony to watch the sunset from. The breakfast buffet is one of the best ones that I have been to. The other restaurant in the resort is great for dinner. There are also some other food options and a few shops. The staff is incredibly nice and we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine which was a very nice touch. It was a nice place to spend one night on the way back from the islands and before boarding the plane back home.

Love staying at the Sofitel Fiji. A wonderful 5 star resort that has just had a total renovate so was looking great. Staff are fabulous and food was lovely. It's nice to stay in a resort where you feel like there is a luxury Fiji vibe. The pool area is huge which is great for a resort of this size - amenities without feeling like you're on top of everyone else. Bed (and pillow - chose your own) was super comfortable - the best I've had in a hotel for quite some time.

The staff at The Hilton are just amazing they go above and beyond to make sure you have the perfect holiday experience. Salote was especially helpful and made our family holiday a memorable one. The pool area is my mind is one of the best in Denarau as it's spacious and not overcrowded. Easy enough to spot the wayward children.
