The room was very well kept, the most comfortable place we stayed during our Yasawa island trip! Lots of activities to choose from and the food provided was delicious. The host family were so nice and even took us to Sunday Church service with them - truly an amazing experience. Thank you very much to the lovely family for providing us with an amazing stay.

This was my most enjoyable and relaxing stay of my yasawa trip. So many positives. The place its self is separate from the families quarters so you feel like you have real privacy. The family are all lovely and non intrusive. The kids are the cutest things ever. The bed is of quality hotel standards with a priceless mosquito net. Finally the food was excellent and abundant, every time catering for my pescatarian needs. Was very sad to leave.

Waya Lailai is a totally unique resort. The iTaukei welcome and constant warmth, wisdom and interaction makes you feel you are on holiday at a dreamed for home, in a home where you can snorkel with Turtles, Reef Sharks and other amazing sea life right infront of your bure. You also meet wonderfully inspiring people from all over the world who open up in Waya Lailai. Then to add to that, you get to visit local villages, climb the peak at dawn behind the resort and go on snorkel and dive boat trips. We have no desire to try any other resort in Fiji, we are coming back in a month.

Amazing reef and three beautiful beaches, lovely lodge tent right on the sunset beach, friendly staff. We got to swim with mantas! Food was ok. Even at low tide, you could always go snorkeling through the boat channels on sunrise beach. Guys and girls from the dive shop were fantastic, special mention for Bella, one of the marine biologists, who took us on a great snorkeling tour.

Food was amazing, diving instructors very competent, manta ray swim was incredible! dorm was always very clean and acrivities so much fun the only thing is, for backpackers info: you HaVE to pay for the mandatory meal plan per night you have booked, there’s no way getting around that… even if you don’t want to eat or don’t plan on being on the island that day but i absolutely enjoyed my stay would definately recommend!
