The location was wonderful, in a peaceful village in the heart of the Morvan. The room was lovely, with views out across the countryside, and we enjoyed a very pleasant meal with excellent cooking of local dishes and service. The staff were very friendly and helpful

A pleasant village nestled in a hollow surrounded by hills,...

A pleasant village nestled in a hollow surrounded by hills, offering numerous hiking, mountain biking, and trail running trails. All essential shops are available. Community life is vibrant, centered on folk arts and traditions (music, storytelling, customs, etc.). The hurdy-gurdy festival is renowned in August. The Hotel Fortin offers simple but adequate rooms and a family-run restaurant. There is also a campsite by a small pond.

The room. It's a tiny space, nothing more, nothing less.

The room. It's a tiny space, nothing more, nothing less. The bathroom is accessed through a creaky saloon-style door, offering no privacy whatsoever. The sink looks ancient. The bed is passable. The breakfast is pathetic. The price is exorbitant. It deserves one star at best. You should remove it from your catalog. Avoid it as much as possible.

Anost is a small village.

Anost is a small village. We had a wonderful time together for 15 days. Beautiful surroundings with lovely lakes. Great hiking area. Plenty of water for swimming in the summer. There's also a beautiful view from the top of the viaduct, overlooking the channel through which trees used to be transported to Paris. We also drove some very scenic routes.
