A charming town.
A charming town. I would literally move here, if I would have the opportunity. It's not so big as Nice to feel overcrowded and noisy, but large enough to have some activities and meet people. Plus the architecture is so charming in the old town, I loved the walled city. The beaches are amazing (some with fine sand, like Plage de la Salis or Plage du Ponteil), other with pebbles and the water is comfortably deep. Antibes is a good home base for the French Riveria.
Antibes is a good home base for the French Riveria. Not as busy as Nice or Cannes which is literally a stones throw away, but takes 30 minutes or more by car due to traffic. Antibes is between the two. Even though we had a car, it was much easier, and cheaper, to take the bus and train to destinations around the French RIveria. Antibes is a lovely town with a lot to explore. The small narrow streets in the old town are wonderful and you never know what’s around the next corner.
