The main point of interest is the source of the Moselle...

The main point of interest is the source of the Moselle River. The surrounding area is the Vosges Mountains stretching as far as the eye can see. The village itself appears somewhat dilapidated, but the local council and residents are making an effort to attract visitors. There's a lovely photo exhibition in the parks and in the village church.

All the facilities are in dire need of renovation, and there are many missed opportunities. For example, the terrace overlooks ugly buildings while there's a stunning view of the mountains. The staff wasn't particularly professional. Dinner was truly awful. It's a faded gem and needs investment. Not recommended.

Bussang, with its source of the Moselle, is a quiet place, ideal as a base for hiking trips, cycling tours with a quiet greenway through the valley, near Ballon d'Alsace and several other places.

Ideally situated in the mid-mountains, close to Alsace, the Rhine Valley, and the Black Forest, Azureva village offers hiking trails, a swimming pool, and the Théâtre du Peuple, making it an incredibly rich destination where visitors come back again and again without ever being disappointed.

Bussang is a great starting point for hikes in the Vosges Mountains. However, please don't expect any dining options whatsoever. I mean no (open) cafes, restaurants, pubs, or anything else.

No service !!! They Didn t do the effort to call, to tell that one road to the hotel was blocked ..! Had to drive an extra 1.5 hour in the dark in freezing weather in the mountains !!! After the 6 hour drive from Ghent .. dangerous road in winter !!! Clean studio with beautifull view
