A peaceful place, it's a piece of heaven in the valley of Loire. Good location just few meters from the Domain Chaumont sur Loire. The room is spacious and clean, relaxing and cozy, in the middle of nature but with all comforts. The bed is wow! The best sleep I have had in the last 10 years. The shower is so relaxing, I'd never get out of it! Also the restaurant Le Grand Chaume is remarkable, great food and service. At the end of the dinner, the chef came to our table to know our opinion of the food and offered some mini desserts, and they were very tasty!

We liked the fact that this is no longer a corporate hotel and that it run by a family who work well together. The breakfast was good. There was a choice of cooked food and a range of cold cuts etc. The bread especially the fruit bread was excellent.

Very accommodating and friendly hosts. It was a little difficult to find but really lovely once there. We were on bikes so the hosts drove us to a local store for dinner supplies. Delicious homemade yogurt and cakes for breakfast.

A lovely location, very peaceful. The breakfast was lovely and the coffee great! The owners very kindly stored our bikes in their house overnight. We had to cycle out to (I think the only local restaurant) butbitbwas well worth it as the meal we had was exceptional.

A typical village, but without any attractions.

A typical village, but without any attractions. The area is still convenient for Blois and other castle visits. Restaurants are available nearby, but reservations are required during this period. Peace and quiet abound, as do the opportunities for walking in the nearby woods or along the river.

The best and freshest breakfast selection we have had travelling France in the last 3 weeks The Bistro in the evening offered an excellent selection of dishes cooked exceptionally well and great value The dish of the day was also always very good Awielie’s attention to detail with regards to all aspects of the running of her hotel was spot on and she provided us with excellent information to re visiting the local attractions the perfect host If you want to explore this part of the Loire this is definitely the hotel to stay in

This property is a little out of the way, but it's a worthwhile stop for anyone who is driving from the channel ports to the south of France or who wants a base to tour the chateaux of the Loire. The auberge is recently renovated and is decprated in a minimalist style that's very attractive. The rooms are comfortable with good beds and showers. The restaurant is excellent for dinner and fine for breakfast (normal standard hotel food). The staff are friendly and welcoming. Good wine too!

It's modern and clean and the staff were friendly. Its the right hotel but in the wrong location. If you are travelling and want to stop off overnight, and not worry about seeing anything, then this place is ideal.

Our room was on the ground floor and very spacious and clean. Very quiet too. We really liked our dinner at the gastro restaurant Overall we would recommend the hotel and the gastro restaurant
