David and Natalie were fantastic, accommodating and welcoming. The accommodation was renovated to an absolutely superb standard using everything of a very high quality. The bathroom was outstandingly equipped and a beautiful shower. The breakfast was stunning, fresh and tasty with absolute quality products. A gorgeous location and we hope to stay again very soon. Wonderful small hotel with charm in the centre of the village. Parking just behind, and a restaurant which was amazing. We did not expect the service and quality for a 3star establishment, so CHAPEAU! I wish that there were more of these in France to compete against the giants of ACCOR etc. The room was very ok and a huge bathroom! The Crepes Suzettes were the best I've ever had...merci!

Chisseaux is the ideal town for: Taking a boat trip on the Cher River and passing under the Château de Chenonceau: a wonderful Chisseaux, very close to the hot air balloon launch sites... An open-air museum called "Le Jardin des Muses" (The Garden of the Muses) run by a sculptor. Bravo!

The area is full of great places to stay, starting with our holiday accommodation, "Yourte and spa". The Loire Valley châteaux are magnificent, and there are electric vehicle charging stations on site. Beauval Zoo is also worth a visit and offers electric charging points.

A quiet little town very close to Chenonceaux Castle. However, there are very few restaurants. No service after 8 pm except for one. It's best to take precautions and especially book in advance! The same applies to Montrichard and Chenonceaux. This is a drawback in high season!

Great location, large comfortable bedrooms including accessible adaptations if needed and pre-booked. Large private car park, very welcoming and friendly staff. Restaurant offers some interesting dishes from the chef’s homeland in Reunion; an unexpected and very pleasant surprise. No other local restaurants except pizza, so perfect for anyone wanting an easy night with sleep and food in the same place. We enjoyed drinks on the patio at the front of the hotel, in the evening sunshine, although besides the road it was quiet.

Arrived at Les Lavandes to find they no longer existed and had ceased trading 6 months before. Messaged them twice but had no response. Had to find alternative and more expensive accommodation in another hotel. Booking.com was useless too, telling me twice they were in touch with the accommodation and would respond in 30 minutes. They didn’t and responded almost two weeks later telling me to contact the accommodation.

This a friendly family hotel which is my stopover to Dordogne Always friendly and supportive ,kindly staff Comfortable room Can't comment on dinner but I know their breakfasts are amazing . Secure parking in a lovely place . Room at the side or rear might avoid boy racer noise at night

It was very clean and comfortable and the food was excellent. Our van broke down and the staff went out of their way to ring a local garage who picked it up and repaired it. The hotel also prepared us a lunch platter as we were unable to leave the hotel
