The Moulin is a stunning historic building, with exceptional views down the river to the sea. The welcome was so kind and genuine and the evening meal was truly amazing. The most exceptional meal we have had in years. True gastronomy which the chef was rightly proud to talk about. We loved it and wished we were there longer.

The site I did not know in 'Bretagne' is a must-see area for those who are happy to be surrounded in peaceful places, just enjoying how nature is beautiful. Simple and healthy days off enjoying good local food, too. House nicely located from several seeing points reachable by bike, walking distance, or car if so. For those who were lucky like me to have found this place I wondered whether we should not keep the secret just for us ;-) But our hosts were so kind and welcoming that I could only wish them to prosper in this activity and get more visitors to know their area, participate to the local economy and discover the many products the region provides...

The house was built at the beginning of the 20th century; so very authentic. Yvonne is a most hospitable hostess; her breakfast is quite a spread and she encourages one to take whatever one fancies and cannot manage at breakfast; great pancakes! The house is situated in a rural area but close to historical sites and a beautiful part of the Brittany coastline. Yvonne recommended places to visit and she was spot on.

Lovely airey seaside home less than ten minutes walk from the sea. The huge rocks in the garden made it a unique place to stay. The house was very well equipped and comfortable and Hubert and Josiane were brilliant hosts checking in at the beginning and end of our stay. The beaches here are beautiful and quiet, great for snorkelling and exploring the rocks and rockpools. We had a fantastic holiday here and would love to return.

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at this hidden little gem, just 40 minutes from Brest. Visiting as a group of friends, the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms was ideal—comfortable, spacious, and well thought-out for a group. The highlight was definitely the indoor pool—perfectly heated and a great size for relaxing or a fun splash-around. The large kitchen and breakfast bar made cooking and snacking easy, and there was plenty of space to gather around the dining table for meals. Outside, the property is surrounded by a beautiful garden with a boules pitch overlooking open fields and even a view of the ocean—just stunning. We made the most of the BBQ, plancha, and bikes provided, which were lovely extra touches. We couldn’t have asked for more and were genuinely over the moon with everything. Huge thanks to the kind and welcoming owners and host—we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Spacious. Very well equipped, wonderful location. We especially appreciated (and made good use of) the generous provision of many extras - kayaks, surf boards, table tennis, boules, hot tub etc. Access to such a lovely beach was especially enjoyed - a paradise gut active children (and adults).

Visiting off-season means few, if any, tourists. The beaches are all superb, but Kerlouan itself lacks a certain charm. You have to explore the surrounding area to discover truly magnificent places.

The coastal paths and legends are definitely worth exploring...

The coastal paths and legends are definitely worth exploring; Kerlouan is a truly charming little town. If you take the car, you can visit the Funès de Kerema area. The town of Roscoff, just half an hour away, is definitely worth a visit, especially for its market, and the restaurants at the port are fantastic. We will definitely return to this beautiful region.

Kerlouan is a cozy little town.

Kerlouan is a cozy little town. Perfect for holidaymakers who want to escape stress and hustle and bustle. During our trip in May, we had deserted beaches and were able to truly enjoy the peace and quiet.

The scenery is breathtaking.

The scenery is breathtaking. It's not at all crowded in the off-season. Kerlouan is a nice little town; you can buy groceries there, and there's a small restaurant and a bakery.

The Ménéham site is magnificent, the hiking trails are numerous and well-maintained. We had a good meal in a small restaurant; the quality and price were reasonable. Traffic and parking were easy; we were there in mid-October.

Several magnificent beaches (including at least one...

Several magnificent beaches (including at least one supervised beach: Boutrouilles), the interesting Ménéham district (a renovated old fishing village with artists' studios), and a vibrant village center (concerts, exhibitions, fest-deiz festivals...). Not too far from the Goulven cove, a paradise for sand yachting.
