We had a warm welcome from the owner. The house is exceptionally well set up - there was nothing at all that we lacked. There were several Wow moments. The second floor accommodation was remarkable with its own entrance to an outside space. The kitchen had plenty of utensil and pan choices , better than my own home probably. Loads of space,. The log fire was super cosy. The beds were very comfortable. We hope to return, and we do not hesitate to recommend this property. We just wish we had booked more than just the 3 nights.

Place has a lot of character. Nice rural setting. Fridge and tea making facilities. Great bathroom. Table and chairs in room . Lovely welcome by host and friendly dogs - not a key box!

What an exceptional property - in the heart of the historical centre - superbly furnished, up to date in every requirement - Generous sized rooms and bathrooms - The proprietor Regis was warm, welcoming , helpful and so kind . Superb breakfast and proffesional service . Would love to return . The resident cat Felix ( who was obedient enough the sleep on his covered shelter at the doorstep) & his many visitors were the additional bonus !

A wonderful hotel with service and felling of the hotel world of the past. Do have the breakfast in the morning as it's lovely and great value. I enjoyed the theme aspect of the rooms. Right in town so access is perfect. Great stay thanks! :)

The welcome was more than pleasant, the grounds superb, the rooms spacious, and the breakfasts generous. We were received like family, in a manor house – it was fantastic! Our only regret is that we only stayed one night and didn't get to enjoy this place more.

A village with old-world charm. Tuffeau stone is everywhere.

A village with old-world charm. Tuffeau stone is everywhere. Strolling through the streets, except for the Rue de Tire Jarret!, is enchanting. The flower-filled bases of the walls add to the atmosphere. A botanical garden has been created at the town hall.
