The Gîte itself is just so beautiful and rustic, exactly as per the photos and so cosy and warm, the pellet burner was just perfect for this time of year (December). The owners were the friendliest and most helpful people you could ask for. We had travel issues (delays on the Euro Tunnel) and then problems with our car (puncture), which caused us long delays, however, we kept them informed and they were so understanding and very helpful, we could not have asked for more.

Anne is a wonderful host and her gite is a perfect base from which to explore this fascinating area of France. We visited in October and found the property to be spacious, clean and very cozy despite the cold weather. The lounge with pellet-fired wood burner is a particularly lovely place to relax after a day out. Along with a spacious interior, there are also really beautiful gardens to enjoy in any season. In summary, we loved our stay and will be back next year for sure. Highly recommended - thank you Anne! :)

Amazing location in beautiful town. Easy free parking, comfortable apartment with beautiful light and views; comfy bed, big Netflix tv and very functional kitchen. Quiet except for church bells! Responsive and friendly host. Easy check in/out.

Daryl and Nadege were very friendly and welcoming. The building has been very nicely renovated and has a lot of character. It is set in the countryside not far from the village of Ger. We ate there both nights of our stay, Nadege is an excellent cook the food was delicious.

Beautiful little village, very picturesque and some lovely...

Beautiful little village, very picturesque and some lovely places to visit nearby (we had our car, so easy enough to travel). Domfront is great for a few local shops, cafes, restaurants, boulangerie etc... Fosse Arthour is certainly worth a visit, scenic little walks and a wonderful restaurant, well recommended. For those travelling around Christmas time, a visit to see the lights at Beauchene is a must - just wonderful!
