The hotel has recently reopened, under new ownership after closing during Covid. The new owners have clearly but a lot of effort into smartening up the rooms. We were given a complimentary galss of champagne when we arrived.

The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the accommodation owner was very helpful. Breakfast was buffet style and very good. It's 15 mins into Epernay, and it's a great location. Visting the avenue de champagne is a must. We also visited a champagne house, it was a great experience. The museum on the avenue is also worth a visit. We went to Hautvillers, and from the viewpoint you can see across the valley. A great place to visit, will definitely be back again.

Perfect for staying in Champagne region, close to the Epernay, supermarket and even boulangerie around the corner. The house itself is spotless, really stylish and equipped with everything you need. Adorable garden and terrace to enjoy the beautiful view of the vineyards. Totally recommend!

Beautiful hotel with lovely owner and staff. Nothing was a problem and the service was excellent. The Manager was amazing. He picked us up and dropped us off at the train station. The hotel is stunning and huge.

Very quiet pricey place, bird farm. Beautiful views around. Very good location in Champagne - easy and quick access to all places in Champagne. Close to the most important vineyard landscapes. Well equipped house. Great hearty breakfast. We had a small room without a view, but it was suitable for a few nights. The hosts are friendly but do not speak English, and we did not speak French, so the communication was very short and emotional. In the evening, it is worth ordering an inexpensive dinner, especially if you like duck. Highly recommend, especially for a few days or a week.

The vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see are...

The vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see are magnificent, and it's very peaceful. There are some lovely places to eat. Buses run regularly, and we were on a motorcycle, which was a real treat for motorcycle enthusiasts. Unfortunately, there are a lot of traffic jams during rush hour, but apart from that, it's great.

No reception.

No reception. Keys were in a basket with a list of names and their room numbers. No option for dinner on Friday evening. No option for dinner on Saturday evening. The hotel is dilapidated. Both the toilet and shower. It used to be recommended (I've been there twice before). This time it's not recommended (I won't be back).

We chose to leave the hotel because several alive bugs and two worms in the room . We killed them and brought one bug to the staff to let them know the problem. The staff offered us an other room, but we were afraid we would bring bugs with us home. They sendt an e-mail offering the money back and asked for the iban etc. which I do not have as I used my credit card. I asked them to give the refund to the card I used upon paying for city tax and breakfast the next morning. (have not got the refund yet, though ).

the house was nice, spacious, the couch and the beds were good! Is was easy to access the house with given instructions. Being in the neighbourhood of Epernay was a plus, but Moussy and surroundings are beautiful for hikes or champagne tastings
