The accommodations were exceptional and the homely cooked meals were wonderfully prepared from local produce ….. and very abundant. Nicely updated family room, comfy beds. Blissful air con as it was so hot outside. We had dinner in the hotel and our waitress was friendly&helpful. She didn't mind that I spoke poor French&she had a little English which also helped. Often I find French service very brusque (bordering on rude by Irish standards) but she was great-friendly& patient. She was very helpful when I needed gluten free dining options, which meant we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal- the first time I've ever had that in France. Food was tasty and hearty. We are Irish&it would be what we would consider country farmhouse style cooking. Which was ideal for us traveling with a small child. Nearby bars have a fab view across the countryside & are a great place for a drink. Try cafe 50.

Elvina and Tim were so welcoming and such a friendly and helpful couple. We spent a really lovely evening in St Gaoudens where we had a lovely Iranian meal. The gite was really comfortable, clean and well equipped with an amazing view of the Pyrenees. We would definitely go back there for longer and would highly recommend it.

I had a lovely stay of 2 nights here. The hosts, Jo and Nick, are great. The room was very very nice, too. I was traveling by bicycle and it's just a few km's out of town of Saint-Gaudens. So for anyone not here with a car, but with a bicycle: yes, it's entirely doable to do the round-trip for restaurant visits! Overall, I can highly recommend staying here.
