It's a very small hotel with original vintage features which felt a bit like traveling in time to my grandparents' house. It's very nicely renovated whilst keeping the original feel. It's clean, comfortable and the location is great. I would definitely come back again and recommend it.

I found Soissons itself less captivating than several other towns in the area (50-100 km away). It's certainly an interesting city if you're interested in history (Roman past, cathedral).

Soissons is a magnificent city, an open-air museum with a...

Soissons is a magnificent city, an open-air museum with a very rich cultural heritage. Moreover, the welcome is warm and friendly; the locals are welcoming and incredibly kind. I will certainly return with great pleasure during the Heritage Days. Cycling in the city is very pleasant because cyclists are given priority.

We came to see the lights illuminating some of the city's...

We came to see the lights illuminating some of the city's monuments. We enjoyed it, but we weren't able to see the last monument. In early July, the sun sets late, and the show ends at midnight. What a shame. We also explored the other sights to see during the day. Very interesting.

A truly pure city, diverse and homogeneous. Many disabled women. The grandeur is still palpable. Good restaurants with very reasonable prices. A great base for cycling and visiting the surrounding area. Lots of war history.

I was born in Soissons and served in the regiment that...

I was born in Soissons and served in the regiment that occupied the Goureau barracks. I'm saddened to see that the city has lost the quality of life it enjoyed in the 70s and 80s, when the economic climate was more favorable. What are the authorities waiting for to (finally!) build a four-lane highway to Paris and, especially, to Roissy?

Basically you're almost in Soissons centre, it's only a 5 minute walk to the main high street. There was parking and rooms were revamped. It's kind of a converted old people's home, but wifi was decent and breakfast was OK. Cheaper than the Best Western next door. We basically had a mini-apartment.

Good staff, excellent value for money. Laundromat just around the corner. Soissons is well worth a visit, especially the cathedral. Stayed an extra day. Short walk into the centre. Close to the river
