A very nice old house in a fascinating mountainous village near Gorges du Verdon, Lac de Saint-Croix, Lac de Castillon... Great hikes right from the doorstep. The rooms are small but pleasant, tidy and clean. Two bathrooms! Great views from a small balcony and almost all the windows. We didn't want to leave.

Very friendly staff and super comfy bed. Great location near the village centre but quiet and with plenty of parking. The restaurant menu looked good but we chose to eat out in one of the small handful of restaurants in the village. We went on the next morning to drive the Route des Cretes (spectacular) which starts a couple of kms from the hotel. Lots of local signposted trails in beautiful countryside.

Fabulous location as we cycled along the Gorge du Verdon Watching the vultures, swifts,swallows, falcons, and hawks as we sat eating our dinner on the terrace looking down the gorge Delightful hosts who arranged easy cycle storage for us. Breakfast and dinner included were delicious

The terrece of the restaurant has a magnificent view. The room was clean and beautiful. The room opens to a wonderful terrace where you get scenic views, and can go sunbathing. The host and staff were all very friendly and nice. Magnificent location. The dinner in the restaurant was superb - really interesting and tasty dishes!

It's a castle! As my American wife said over and over!

It's a castle! As my American wife said over and over! It's a stunning location and quite unique. The evening food and service was amazing and the lovely breakfast overlooking the surroundings on the terrace was unforgettable. All the staff were attentive & hospitable and I would definitely come back here. Only issue was the spotty Wifi but for one night, we took a break and enjoyed this unique place.

This castle hotel is what dreams are made of!

This castle hotel is what dreams are made of! Come here to live like, and be treated like royalty. It is peaceful, elegant, historic... the perfect getaway. We had an indulgently delicious breakfast and complex gourmet dinner each day at the castle, then drove through the countryside, exploring medieval towns and tiny villages. Castellane was our favorite. The drive itself is breathtaking! Europe's only grand canyon, the Gorges du Verdon, is a sight to behold, and you drive right through it!

Le Petit Saint Clair was a wonderful place to stay, right in the heart of the ancient village of Trigance.. It had everything we needed and the view was amazing! The village is fascinating and has all the basics- bakery, small shop for supplies and a great tabac/cafe with excellent food. From Trigance, we're able to explore the Gorges of Verdon - truly stunning.

A truly stunning castle with great views and a short 10 minute walk down a path into the village. A delightful dinner on a sheltered terrace. Amazing breakfast served on a tray for you to have at various locations within the hotel.
