Loved the property everything you could possibly want was there. Our host isobelle was so lovely we continually laughed about our language crossover Nothing was too much for her even though her husband was in hospital I would highly recommend and we even saw the Olympic flame handover

There are these stays that you will not simply forgot. This is one of them. If you look for 5 Star Hotel ambiente you are wrong. If you look for great homemade food with an unforgettable evening, you are right. I think is awesome what our host put together. It makes one think ! Having every evening different guests is very brave and surely not an easy task. I like their initiative and the way the offer "value for money" accommodation. I wish them luck and success - will come again, if I am in the area.

Superb place. Family friendly with an amazing owner that was very helpful. Place like on the pictures, with huge common area for guests , with games if you want to chill in the evening. Located right by the side of the lift, 5 mins walking from a small lake. Very clean rooms with comfy beds. I was very happy there with my daughter as we had dream stay there. We will definitely go back!

I'd have liked to have more time to do some trekking in the beautiful mountains. I didn't use it, but I know that you can get around by bus. You can go to Nizza by bus in about 1 hour and a half

Almost deserted in mid-September.

Almost deserted in mid-September. All the shops were closed on Wednesday, so no shopping (for breakfast) was possible. I was alone in the restaurant on Tuesday evening and hardly saw anyone else from the village. A good starting point for excursions (hiking, cycling, and motorcycle tours).

Valdeblore comprises three villages, La Bolline, La Roche, and Saint Dalmas, each with beautiful churches. A forest path starting from Saint Dalmas offers lovely hikes in the Black Forest. There are two small supermarkets, one in Valdeblore and the other in Saint Dalmas, whose bakery offers a wide selection of goods, including sandwiches, and has a terrace.

The towns aren't great, but this accommodation is. Luc and Christine are incredibly friendly, and the food is wonderful. It's a shame they're leaving in September; I can't imagine the new owners will maintain this standard.

Saint-Dalmas, one of the three constituent villages of the Valdeblore municipality, is a Mercantour village whose authenticity has been carefully preserved in a stunning mountain setting. Every old village house is worth a visit. For a light snack, the local bakery comes highly recommended.

The owners family is so friendly and kind. He can speak Dutch. Easy to park. Good location, many hiking courses are close from the hotel. And a bakery and small supermarket are walking distance. Shower is very nice and strong water pressure.
