Hosts Peter and Shaley both went above and beyond to make our stay an excellent one. The room was really clean and comfortable with views of the lake. Having a proper coffee machine in the room was a welcome bonus. Both the breakfast and dinner were delicious and served quickly. Breakfast was already included and the dinner was budget friendly with good variety. They also have a pebble beach right in front of the hotel and some tables and chairs right by the water. We particularly enjoyed just sitting there, looking out to the lake, sipping our drink and chatting with other hotel guests. Very dog friendly too!

The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful with information. The room was compact but comfortable. The shared area was very well stocked with all the facilities that you could and would need to prepare and make any meals. I liked the honesty shop and the drying room.

Views from the restaurant and outside at the picnic tables was incredible. Dinner was really good. Breakfast was well organised and tasted good. We stayed in the apartment which had a great kitchen and good living room. Bath was fantastic. Be aware you need to go up steps to get there. We were right above the very lively oub and coukd not hear any noise at all. So soundproofing must be good! There are a little set of shops close by but if you plan to cook or make your own food, collect your supplies at a bigger supermarket before you get there. Everything is very clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to do everything well. We wished we had booked for longer.

The guest house is lovely but Graham is actually who makes this place unforgettable! He is not only the best host but also a great cook who will easily fulfill all your wishes. His motto is: It’s nice to be nice… mostly recommended :)
