Great place to visit on a short break.

Great place to visit on a short break. Plenty of places to eat and drink, some fantastic old pubs. Locals all very friendly. The Minster is a must to visit and there are lots of shops and a market on Wednesday and Saturday. Had it not been for the very wet weather, we would have walked along the canal path and visited the local parks and woodland walks.

Beverley is a lovely historical town with beautiful buildings and the Minster. The Sun and Monks Walk pubs were buzzing and welcoming even early in the week. Shops are great and the Chinese take away is one of the best.

Found Beverley to be a really nice place to spend a weekend.

Found Beverley to be a really nice place to spend a weekend. Plenty to see and do and even better due to the nice weather we experienced. Found people to be very friendly everywhere and being able to find our way around was very easily done. Well worth the visit very pleasing weekend. I will go as far to say that if you spent more than a weekend here you would have more than enough to do and see.

The Staff at the King's Head were both friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was exceptional and very good value for money. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed, hot shower and the standard of cleanlliness was very good. The hotel is situated in the middle of Beverley and we were able to visit all the local shops and our relatives in Molescroft without using the car. The main selling point about this hotel is its staff who go above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. We will certainly use them again.
