The hotel’s location was the reason I chose it, and I wasn’t disappointed! I also had dinner, breakfast and drinks there, and in addition to a cosy atmosphere and very nice staff, the food was top notch! Lastly… if you are able, try and book the rooms facing the bay, and be treated to incredible sunrises! I can’t wait to stay there again. Bonus point, it is easily accessible with public transport.

Wonderful place, perfectly located. The island is small but there was some points of interest close by, we were even able to walk. The view and site is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The rooms are cute and cosy and the staff was very pleasant and always helpful. We also ate at the hotels restaurant and everything was delicious! We highly enjoyed our stay and we recommend without hesitation!

The Room location and decor completely exceeded my expectations for the price. This place is magical and I will definitely return. Located right by the sea, this hotel was absolutely perfect for us. It was really clean, and decorated in a comfy and homey way. We had plenty of space including an extra room for tea and coffee just to ourselves. Bed and all furniture were very comfortable. The staff were extremely kind and helpful and the breakfast was super delicious. And it's only a short bus ride from Brodick pier and you have access to other restaurants and pubs within a short walking distance ( in addition to the hotel's own lovely restaurant). We would highly recommend a stay here.

Such an interesting place - fabulous views, beautiful walks, the beach, harbour and excellent selection of shops and places to eat. Good bus service around the island if no car but keep an eye on seasonal schedules. If you like walking this is a great place to visit. The 3 mile walk from Brodick to Lamlash is stunning and it was a perfect day for it in November, cool, sun shining and no rain - a little boggy in places but a good walk for most ages. Had a fabulous meal at The Lamlash Bay Hotel overlooking The Holy Isle and indulged in a little locally made shopping, bus back to Brodick - a perfect day.

Charming village on a beautiful bay, with views of the tallest peak on the island. Many interesting little shops, a terrific bakery, and a pub. But too few places are open to eat in the evenings. Easy to shop for groceries for self-catering.

Brodick is a nice little place on the beautiful island of Arran and is well worth a visit for a day trip, a weekend or longer. Arran in general is a great place for a short or long trip to get away from things on the mainland for a bit. just watch out for the midges in the evening.

Very cool little town with plenty to do for a 3-5 day trip. Great hiking, everything easily accessible on foot. Great base for exploring Isle of Arran. Busses can get you anywhere else in the island you want to be. Easy ferry to the mainland.

We came to Arran for personal, nostalgic reasons and enjoyed ourselves so much we are planning to come back with other family members. Everything about our stay was a pleasure, with a highlight being the Arran Museum, so interesting and informative, and their cafe had the most delicious homemade food (all from one cook I believe, kudos!). Our explorations were so engrossing we didn't go to Brodick Castle, so that will be something for next time. We even found lovely, personal souvenirs in the thrift shop by the quay while were parked in line for the ferry! We rented a car and appreciated the freedom it gave us, though communication with the ferry service was nerve-wracking. May I suggest better information and directions to the standing stones and other prehistoric riches, and whether hiking shoes would be appropriate?

Fantastic scenery especially if you enjoy walking. Local amenities good and easy accessible dog friendly and locals themselves very friendly. Great bus service for those who don't drive. Brodick castle well worth a visit stunning gardens and views.

The location was perfect, we were golfing and on 2 days we could just walk to Brodick GC. Amazing! Everyone so friendly and helpful wherever we were. Never been to Arran but I will be returning for sure. Great weather helped but genuinely brilliant, what a lovely place.

The location is right next to the beach and a 2 minute walk from the ferry terminal making it easy to get about without a car. The beds were exceptionally comfy and the kitchen was great for self catering. The staff were really friendly and helpful!

I start of breakfast at 8:30 was too late if one had to get away early to go on a trip to the Holy Isle e.g. or get the ferry home. The location was handy for getting into Brodick or visiting Brodick Castle.

The house was in an ideal, quiet position just minutes from the ferry. The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen was ideal for us. Arran is a spectacular island with lots to do and see. We'll definitely be back!
