We loved everything. From the shower to the comfy bed. I truly enjoy the routine of housekeeping and how thoughtful the staff is. If you are travelling with children, Ownies Bar and Bristo appear to be pretty crowded at night, but the sound isolation from the rooms is pretty good. Live music was a plus! Breakfast is offered here, and I was impressed that after a long night, it was perfect in the morning. Delicious breakfast with traditional bread. We also had the opportunity to eat dinner here, and it was fantastic. The location is another bonus: easy parking, seafront, close to the castle (we walked there). It's close to Belfast and not far from the airport with a car. We absolutely want to come back!

The Apartment was amazing from the minute we arrived from how clean it was to how inviting it was with the basket of treats for the kids, the essentials in the apartment coffee,tea etc the comfort of everything was second to none & the view over the marina was amazing . We stopped at Carrickfergus for 3 nights, which was perfect. It is so easy to get a bus into Belfast to visit the Titanic and do an open bus tour of Belfast. We enjoyed walking along the promenade in Carrickfergus and getting an ice cream from Mauds (would highly recommend the Poo Bear)! The Castle visit is a must, the guide was so knowledgeable and we really enjoyed it.

The house we stayed in was lovely and the town itself is...

The house we stayed in was lovely and the town itself is charming. But the people are not very friendly. We went to the local Wetherspoon for a meal and the locals were glaring at us. One man spat at my husband when he was having a smoke outside. It's too bad because the town is quiet and lovely. There is a castle by the sea and we had a nice walk. Maybe it was just that incident that put us off.

A pleasant small town on the shore of Belfast Lough about 10 miles from Belfast, boasting a historic castle, a delightful harbour and marina, and a good prom to stroll along. Good communications by bus or rail, and convenient for the ferries.

A beautifully appointed and decorated home and it is evident that the owner has thought of everything a guest may need. From the treats, to coffee pods, to clothes washing liquid and clothes pegs, to extra pillows, this is one comfortable and lovely place to stay. We were so happy to have made this our choice for Carrickfergus (rather than nearby Belfast) as our overnight stay.

Lovely traditional hotel with charm, in a quiet spot just outside Carrickfergus Lovely quiet spot, nice parking for motorbikes and easy access to Belfast and ferry terminal, Whitehead and Gobbins cliff path or the lively Antrim coast road. Heather and Tom were fantastic hosts and the breakfast was super, cooked fresh to order. Werealky enjoyed our stay. Thank you :-)

The apartment is in an excellent location right on the Carrickfergus foreshore, right in walking distance from a great pub, shops, bakery and cafes! It is very spacious, with a big kitchen and beautiful view out the front window. The host was lovely and met us at the property to show us around and give us local recommendations, which was very much appreciated!
