The owners and staff of the Inn were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to help us. The Inn was decorated for Christmas and looked so lovely and cosy. The breakfast was delicious, and the dinner we ate there was tasty too! We didn't walk around the local area due to bad weather, but the location suited our needs perfectly.

Modern, clean, spacious, private, home from home and in a good location. Laura was very friendly and helpful. The cottage is a hidden gem, absolutly FANTASTIC!!!. Cowbridge is a market town, the cattle market is now The Butts, free parking, but does get full. For coffee you must go to Fablas on the high street , you will be served coffee or tea in a way you have never been served before. Try the Elephant and Bun deli, with a take away box salad. Lunch at Harrys or The Penny Farthing, visit the Physic gardens for a relaxing stroll. Wander up and down the high street, also going down the little turnings, still have a butchers, which closed Mondays and a chemist the window will grab your eye. Then try Forage farm show, which is out of the high street, and for novelty value but glass milk bottles and get milk from the milk machine, near Forage. All the food shops are very good.

The coastal walks near to Cowbridge are stunning. We were lucky to have good weather. There is a fantastic pub at Monknash with great food and ale. Ogmore was rather busy but the other locations along that stretch of coastline are secluded. The lighthouse is worth a visit and the facilities at Llantwit Major are great. Wonderful place for a long weekend getaway.

Cowbridge is a great town- very friendly people, full of lots of interesting shops and eateries. It is so near to the coast for walking on the beach and making the most of the sea air. I would definitely recommend exploring this beautiful part of the world.

Cowbridge is a pretty market town with lots of pubs and places to eat. Good bus connections to the beach in Porthcawl and only 30 minutes from the centre of Cardiff. There are also some nice walks nearby.

We didn't visit Cambridge much, as we were there for a high school reunion in Llantwit Major at St Donat's Castle, the next town over. But the distance between the two is very short and manageable which was great!

A beautiful cottage in the country. Beautifully appointed with open plan lounge dining and kitchen and separate utility and toilet downstairs and two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. We were easily blue to access Cardiff, Cowbridge and Bridgend and the beautiful coast too. Wish we could have stayed longer. The welcome from the hosts was lovely as the popped round and had provided with fresh milk and tea coffee cereal etc

We arrived early and was allowed to book into our room 2hrs early. On the morning that we were due to leave i asked if i could pay for a late checkout, they said that would not be a problem and did not charge me. Staff are all very friendly. The Tv in our room was not working properly so i contacted reception, the hotel maintenance man was not working that day so they gave me the option to move to another room.

Very cozy and had a brilliant nights sleep as it was so peaceful. Everything was very clean upon arrival and the contact from the property on the day was very helpful. While this is close to the main road the property was very quiet through the night. I will be stopping here more often when visiting our wales office and the property is far better than most hotels I have stayed in.

Location Location Location. Loved being near Cowbridge to shop at my favourite vintage shop Happy Days! and right next to Forage, which does amazing breakfasts. Super clean, comfy beds, caught the sun too in the evening.
