Joy and Ross are simply amazing people - really, they should be both called Joy because they simply bring joy into your life. They are incredibly helpful when it comes to planning your itinerary: they suggest things to see, they suggest places to park at, restaurants to try, etc. They are genuinely curious and want to know about you, but they also give you ton of space. Simply the best hosts ever. The room was great, the en suite bathroom is really also superb. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and as someone who was struggling with getting a good sleep recently, I had absolutely no problems there. Private parking is simply outstanding and the included breakfast is always delicious (Ross's soda bread is impossible to beat). The location is great, ~30 minutes from Belfast and maybe 10-15 minutes from a Tesco supermarket in Crumlin. I would not hesitate for a single second to go back to the Green Monkey Lodge.

Crumlin is a small village not too far from Belfast near the beautiful lake. The lake area is a great attraction and offers lots for people in general but also for families with children. Great playgrounds and nature around. In Crumlin we have been to the 3 Amigos Deli. Brilliant people. We arrived 5 minutes before closing time and they made us delicious burritos with no problem. And we were not rushed at all, very friendly and good taste of the food.

TDH Everthing was excellent. Caroline and Maurice were great hosts. My room was comfortable & cosy. I loved the relaxed atmosphere, breakfast was lovely. The introduction/entrance instruction video sent to me was brilliant! I will definitely be back and have already told people about this place and recommended it if they are going to Northern Ireland. Loved it!

Couldn't fault anything about this hotel, perfect in every way, room extremely comfortable, bathroom beautiful, comfortable bed, everywhere spotlessly clean, delicious breakfast with very extensive choice, lovely staff very friendly and helpful. Owner even gave us a lift to the airport. Would highly recommend to anyone
