Great location, fabulous staff who went above and beyond. I experienced a extremely painful condition with my knee which meant we had to leave early to get to hospital back in Liverpool. Chef made us sandwiches for our journey, rest of staff done everything possible to facilitate my ease of getting from room to car. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be returning.

Bay Villa is a beautiful, historical property with wonderful views of the bay (we stayed in the upstairs suite). We loved watching the water from the big bath in the bay window and also appreciated the additional separate shower room. Our room was tastefully decorated and the many little ‘extras’ showed thoughtfulness and care on the part of management. Communication was easy and informative and we were warmly welcomed on arrival. Outstanding breakfast (the best we have had in England) was served at the table by the window in our room.

We unexpectedly got upgraded to the "lovers suite" and what a place it is, Jackie was amazing from start to finish and made the stay absolutely perfect. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. Not one thing to complain about. 10/10. Thank you we'll be back.

It's a lovely seaside village. Its old and similar to others it's not designed for modern traffic. Beyond that it's a busy little place with interests everywhere, walking, nature, food architecture.

We enjoyed the stay at Haven holiday park but the private caravan was shocking, dirty, dusty, carpets filthy, oven dirty with used crockery still in there , no towels at all , bedding thrown on beds inside out & couldn’t really tell if they had been washed , no tv remote so our two small grandchildren couldn’t watch tv , we tried to contact the owner a number of times but he didn’t answer so can assume he didn’t care, this was the last van available on our dates , I had read the bad reviews & took the chance not expecting it to be has bad as it is , I feel Haven should not allow this caravan to be let

Has a nice period 'feel'.

Has a nice period 'feel'. Lots of one-off shops and very few national chain stores. Quite hilly, which could be challenging in slippery conditions. The promenade provides an excellent, uncluttered walk along the marshy coastline, particularly in good weather. Lots of great, family-run restaurants and 'eating pubs'. Provides a civilised alternative to the popular holiday resorts.

Description of room when booking was not reflective of the reality, garden view turned out to be a brick wall. Customer service was poor. Given false information re restaurant (told closed when still open for another hour). Deputy manager promised to get back to us with answers to our complaints, never did. Told manager would contact us, also to discuss complaints, and she hasn’t. Only after several attempts to contact the manager did we get told by receptionist to contact booking.com (not easy). Unsatisfactory experience all round meaning we would never stay again or even recommend to anyone else

The people at Grange over Sands appear to make an effort to keep the town clean and tidy. It has a lovely park and flower displays in various locations. The people also seem very friendly. The mile long promenade is nice to walk along and the planting alongside is well managed.

The promenade was flat with views over the bay. Surprised to find the old lido at the end, art deco masterpiece being renovated. Impressive station building and lots of§ history. It is ideal for visiting the lakes, Morecambe, and Holker hall. The lakeside motor museum is well worth a visit with an exhibition to Donald Cambell

We didn’t like anything! Very tired hotel, furniture very worn, carpets stained, doors and frames all chipped. This was a dog friendly hotel well it isn’t very friendly when it comes to drinking or eating, you are put into a small room off the main bar area and dining room which are both huge and yet we had to go into a poorly lit and furnished small room, you were expected to eat of small tables that were knee height.

Just back from an overnight stay. If you want a boutique pub/hotel then this won't be for you, but if you, like us, want somewhere that is reasonably priced with staff who are very welcoming added to that amazing food then do stay here. We ended up going back for a Sunday roast on route home because the food was so nice. A great choice of beers too 👍

Location, in the centre of Grange over Sands. Near shops and restaurants. Parking space. Very spacious with lots of hot water and central heating, needed in a very wet November. Everything was so clean with plenty of equipment for cooking if you wanted to do that!

The breakfast was good and plenty of choice. The location of the hotel was very good, across the road from the railway station and park and at the bottom end of Grange over Sands. The view from our bedroom window was lovely.
