Very pleasant location.
Very pleasant location. Lots of independent shops, charity shops. Places for coffee, light lunches. Just out of Hythe- Waitrose to buy snacks, drinks etc. High Street also had Boots, Iceland, WHSmith Pedestrianised during certain times of the day.Guest review byMurphy - 10.0

We llve Hythe, it is quite a typically English resort, it is very quaint but with enough shops to keep us women happy, also a lot of history too, good for the people interested in it.......................We aate in the hotel and found the food to be very tasty. Hythe s a nice quiet place to visit. Our meal at The Imperial was ok, there are a few restaurants within walking distance but none I have been to are truly exceptional...but there is Hide and Fox in Saltwood which is very good. Unhelpful staff overcharged for drinks until we pointed out the error. We were booked into restaurant it was our 30th wedding anniversary but arriving at the restaurant a table for two was placed in the middle of two very large parties (not very romantic) if they had informed us that the restaurant was going to be busy with large tables we would have chosen to eat elsewhere. We ended up eating in our room not great, we were both very upset with this arrangement. We were booked in for two nights but the breakfast was no better so we left after one night. After talking to the manager the next morning who was very unhelpful and said we could have the room service a cost of £5.00 taken of our bill.
