This was one of our favourite hotels on our trip. Very luxurious after staying in regular hotels. The room was perfect, huge bathtub, comfortable bed, beautiful grounds for walking. Loved it. We expected the fine dining room to be expensive but it was quite reasonable.

Ashtree House Hotel is situated in a very stylish building, like a mini castle in the centre of a lovely tiny park in Paisley, Glasgow. The owners and the staff we met were extremely kind. The room was big, well furnished and equipped as per the introduction on Booking. Having breakfast here was a great start of the day. You could make your choise out of a long list and food is delicious. At the bar you could taste whiskey from a wide variety of distilleries. I recommend it to all who would discover this part of Scotland and need a base. Also for those, who needs an airport hotel, but fed up with the standardized look hotels which are the same at the airports all over the world. Here, you can taste Scotland!

    Johnstone or Paisley are perfect for train travellers wanting to explore Scotland. Direct Routes to the Ayr, Ardrossan, Largs which get you over to the islands on the west coast and Balloch for Loch Lomond. 15mins from Glasgow by train. Great Cycling routes to Lochwinnoch passing Kenmure Temple. Other places by car I'd really recommend a visit to: Culzean Castle, Hill House, Willow Tea Rooms Tour, Dumbarton Castle, Mugdock Park, Portencross Castle, Conic Hill, Ben A'an, Paisley Abbey, Glasgow Cathedral and the Necropolis. The River Inn at Crosslee has fabulous food.

    This was a last minute stay after being let down by another...

    This was a last minute stay after being let down by another hotel. The staff were very welcoming and extremely friendly - it was a very nice hotel and close enough to get to the airport early in the morning.

    It’s a beautiful hotel with beautiful garden. Very nice room with comfortable beds. The food is tasty and the staff is very polite, kind and helpful. Area is nice, close to airport which was perfect. We had a lovely time over there.

    Beautiful hotel and the gazebo in the back with the fountain was really lovely. The staff at reception were very friendly. The room was beautiful and the bathroom was spacious.
