The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, our historical room was large and comfortable, with a view to the garden, and the bathroom is modern. The breakfast was continental, and included in the price of the room. Cut fresh fruit was available, as were yogurts, toast, tea and coffee, etc., all in all very satisfying.

A superb B&B in a rural setting. Our hosts, Jonathan and Mary, could not do more for us. In fact, at their insistence, they washed and ironed a load of our dirty laundry. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice, with a choice of cereals, juice, yoghurt and fruit compotes, as well as your choice of a cooked breakfast.

Staff on arrival was very friendly and helpful. The overall ambiance of the property was very pleasing. The lounge, garden views, restaurant were very well laid out and inviting. The food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent. The variety of choices on both menus demonstrated the obvious capabilities of the chef. This place was clean and basic. The place was built for more but there is no restaurant nor bar. Kind of sad in a way because it must of been a fine place to stay at one time. I think the prices are within the establish rates.

Quiet, relaxing and scenic with not much to do in the area...

Quiet, relaxing and scenic with not much to do in the area except walk, eat and drink.; Most-all shops are closed Sunday so the highlight was a visit to the petrol station coop that turned into a tardis. Locals are all very friendly.

Lauren's Hair Lounge is fantastic for hair up for a wedding, lovely girl and reasonable price. We were only staying for a wedding I don't think we would have reason to return it's a very remote little town. Everyone we spoke to was pleasant and helpful. Very difficult to get around with limited and expensive taxi options. Didn't see any buses but maybe there is. Beautiful part of Wales.

Really nice town to stay in.

Really nice town to stay in. Lots of places to eat and drink. Good selection of shops as well. Coming from London I was pleasantly surprised how reasonably priced food and drink was, and the choice and quality was very good. Knighton is a great base for walks along Offers Dyke and visiting local sites. I would certainly stay there again.

Well known for the Offa's Dyke Centre and the start of the famous Offa's Dyke walk but other than that the town, although elegantly Victorian in build, does not have much else going for it, to my knowledge. I did find a lovely place to eat in Knucklas, nearby, "The Castle Inn" which offers an assortment of pies but most notably authentic Thai dishes as the chef is Thai. The night I went there was a 'pub quiz night' and wonderful waitress service which elevated the esperience altogether.

Good evening meal at the Horse and Jockey pub - reasonable price, good choice and friendly staff. Had a good bacon butty and cuppa in J D's Cafe. Nice snack lunch in the cafe at the Prince and Pugh store. Great shop too - has all sorts, including gifts and cards! Lovely church to visit - surprisingly large with beautiful stained glass windows, painted organ and embroidered kneeling cushions. Well worth a visit. Peaceful walk down by the river with direct access to the Offa's Dyke Way. Great area for walkers. Historic heart, decent range of shops for a small town and choice of cafes, plus restaurants. A great Co-Op shop that opens up inside like the Dr Who tardis! 😄 Good base too for exploring the local area.

We stayed in The Willow Lodge. It had all the MoD cons required for a self catering stay. The sauna was amazing. We used it every day. Make sure you take £1 coins to use and it stays warm for hours. There was a gorgeous little village in Knighton around 10 minutes drive away that we visited most days to do walks and grab food. We completed Offa's dyke and got some fabulous pictures. Was lovely to come back to such a beautiful setting at night in the Willow Lodge and use the Hot Tub. The dogs had the best time.

This is an ideal location for those walking Offas Dyke Path. Although slightly outside Knighton and off the direct path, it is easy to route back onto it. This is esstionally a pub that has changed to primarily focus on B&B. Don't let that put you off as a guest we felt in a pub, and the host was perfect. The food was excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend it, and it offers excellent value for money.

This hotel is located more or less on the Offa's Dyke Path, which is why we initially booked it. However, when we arrived, we were blown away by the design of the building and the spectacular staircases and landings from which the rooms were accessed. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom had a bath, which was really nice after a day's walking. We would have no issue recomending it as a good place to stay
