Rose cottage was situated in a lovely quite location, the cottage was very attractive from the front and didn't disappoint inside either. Beautifully decorated and laid out, a lot of thought went into the decor ! Liz and Steve were wonderful hosts, kind and helpful in every way, the breakfasts were amazing ! Our room was very generous with lovely views across the well kept back garden, we enjoyed watching birds flying back and forth across the garden. The room was very clean and the bed was a very comfortable king size and very comfortable pillows. We wished we could have stayed longer, and look forward to a future stay in the not too distant future ! Thank you Liz and Steve, you made our stay very memorable !

Only stayed the one night unfortunately as was fully booked the night before as my plans changed. Just used the room for a nights rest as was on the road early the next day so missed breakfast. Missed the local pub and walk around the area as was invited out for dinner and by the time I got to the accommodation it was already dark and after a long day, with an early start the next day just slept and then left.

It’s a clean modern nice cottage, well interior designed. looks exactly as the photos, but it is smaller and cozier! we stayed 3 nights with our little Yorkie and we absolutely loved our stay. it is equipped with Barbecue with gas and has a view of the open field and we were able to hear or even see the sheep from the garden. There’s a public path to the open field within 10min walk from the cottage and beautiful walk around. 5 big super market with driving distance. The host was very nice and helpful! we were provided with complimentary drinks. there are many board and card games provided in the cottage!

We were staying for 2 nights for a friends wedding. Very friendly staff and helpful. Food was very good. Room was excellent clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend will be returning.

Lovely quiet village.

Lovely quiet village. Farm shop minutes from the cottage with everything you need, a couple of miles up the road in Navenby there are takeaways,cafes, bakery, co-op. Grantham is about eight miles away which is a bustling town and Newark a bit further up has a thriving market most days of the week. Lincoln is about twelve miles away with a cathedral and lots of artisan shops and museums. If your after a get away from it all break then this is the perfect place.
